![Jaksic's Tower was originally built between the 11th and 15th centuries. Its current from dates from 1937.  When the foundations of the nearby Chapel of Saint Petka were being built, bones of Serbian soldiers who died defending Belgrade during WWI were unearthed. They were moved to a specially built ossuary under the tower.

![This church is dedicated to Saint Sava, who was the founder of the Serbian Orthodox Church, and an important figure in Serbian history. Construction began on the 10 May 1935, although was halted after the invasion of Yugoslavia during WWII. Work resumed in 1985, and whilst the exterior is almost complete, the interior remains unfinished.

![Situated in Central Belgrade, Tašmajdan Park's history longs to Roman Empire. Stones were extracted from this park, hence Taš (meaning stone in Turkish) and majdan (meaning mining in Turkish). Main attraction at the park is the beautiful St. Marko Church, the second largest church in Belgrade. "I really liked location, friendliness of staff at the reception, at the restaurant, literally everyone was friendly and competent. The room was clean. Breakfast was also very good (if only coffee would have better quality), but all in all it was a very good breakfast- it started with salmon and ended with chia pudding without added sugar and fresh fruit. There was also live piano music and just a phantastic atmosphere. I hope to come again soon. "

"This hotel is very nice, all very modern and clean, the staff very welcoming and helpful, very quiet and secure. It is also fantastically located right in the centre and has good Wifi. The only negative point I experienced was that the TV reception/signal was poor and kept dropping completely, so I didn't use the TV and relied on my own devices."

"The Hotel is very luxury and beautiful, but the staff was not well trained, at least not at the St. Regis standards, in my room there was no laundry bag, no writing pen, no cotton pads. I have to call for everything. It feels like something is missing, hopefully they will mange the property better in the future."
