Rooms are very dated and rundown away from the main hall. The hall its self is nice and the grounds are lovely. Shame the rooms just are not in keeping

In general the hotel is nice. Lifts are quick, if a little confusing, because of the need to validate each upward journey. Breakfast was good as was the view. The air-con was insufficient to maintain a nice temperature with a winter duvet so I slept on top of the duvet so as to not overheat. My main complaint is that I booked a twin and got a double handicapped suite! The suite was nice but having to sleep with my adult son did not make me or him happy. For that reason sleep was intermittent, however, the bed itself was comfortable. Other issue was that the recommended parking (Printworks) is about a block away and is not dead cheap. If it's raining then getting your luggage to and from your car will be a issue. We were lucky.

Excellent value for money with breakfast included. Rather busy in the morning but staff helpful. Room on sixth floor quiet and comfortable. Ideally situated for Oxford Road train station and St Peter’s Square tram stop 10 minutes walk away Plenty of bars around
