Hotel far from the city centre. Car parking is small given the size of the hotel. Air conditioning didn’t work properly. Booked two 3-bed rooms. They were on 7th and 8th floor. Both rooms had interconnecting doors to neighbouring room (guests we didn’t know). You could hear the complete conversations from the neighbouring room. This is despite having requested quiet rooms. The kids liked the pool. Breakfast was very poor, not the Hilton breakfast you get elsewhere. Not a great hotel but it was relatively cheap when staying in July there.

Loved this hotel. It’s in an office area twenty minutes (free) tram ride from the old town. The hotel itself is very clean, almost as new. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a good breakfast in the very comfortable restaurant. The rooms are nicely laid out with large showers and high quality extras like a Bluetooth speaker, large TV, games console and toiletries.

The property itself isn’t quite bad, with an excellent location and some decent amenities. My room was an Executive Suite, boasting a few amenities (robe/slippers, mini-bar, etc.), including air conditioning. The advertise was “actual” air conditioning or conditioning of warmer air passing by a super-cooled, refrigerated loop thereby producing cooler air and exhausting it through a vent or into the room. NONE of this was happening. EVER. Instead, at best, there is a centralized heat exchanger that services the entire floor (estimated 30+ rooms), but really only “cools” an area to about 2-3 degrees Celsius cooler than the ambient temperature. So, on a night where temperatures are 27-29 degrees, the best I could hope to achieve was 24 degrees, even though my analog Honeywell thermostat indicated it was trying its best to achieve 16 (or even 17. 18, or 19) degrees.. When I reported it to the front desk, I received some kind of mini-jumbo explanation about how it is centrally managed by the European Union! When I called the BS flag on that, another colleague remarked, “It’s for Green preservation.” Next, I was told it was acting up and a maintenance engineer would be addressing it within the hour, which never happened. The real truth: there actually isn’t an air conditioning system that serves each hotel room floor (only the main lobby area in a centralized system). Instead, a heat exchanger at 24 degrees is what is being called an air conditioning system.Why lie or misrepresent?

Great hotel just a short walk to the T1 free tram station that goes into the city center. Our room was very big with lots of storage. Only complaint was that we wish the room could have been cooler and the TV stations that showed the World Cup games wasn’t working so that was disappointing.
