The room was small but comfortable, and the center of Kuah is a few steps away. You also have cheap food options across the street. Il y a la possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner juste en face de la rue dans une petite cantine indienne. Très bon accueil de toutes parts. Very big and spacious. Simple breakfast included (toast) which was good for us. Only downside was that staff weren’t very friendly. Around 2 members of staff were and were helpful but the rest seemed like they didn’t want to speak to us. Also had to ask for toilet roll every single day because when we arrived there was none in the room and then the cleaners didnt top it up. Just left us with little bits. You’d think after asking every day they would tell the cleaners to make sure they leave some. Hotels location was in a quiet spot and taxis were very cheap to beaches and other attractions (use the grab app! Its like uber). The hotel is about 1 mile from the ferry port, and we walked there. It was hot, but we managed, even with our rucksacks. A taxi should be reasonably cheap though. The hotel is pretty close tot he centre of Kuah Town, and there are shops, bars and restaurants all within a few minutes walk. However Kuah Town was a little sleepy with not much going on whilst we were there (although it was a combination of the Thai New Year as well as the prophets ascension). The room was an okay size and the bed was comfortable. It was very clean and the bathroom was nice too. Reception was helpful, giving us advice on car hire and advising that they offered a free breakfast (toast/jam/tea/coffee). Nice clean room with good air-con and shower. The room was clean and bedsheets changed daily. WIFI connection in the room and lobby area was good. Perhaps the management could look into replacing the towels and place a soap dish at the wash basin. There was complimentary continental breakfast - self service at the lobby. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We could put some of our foodstuff in the cold drink chiller as there was no fridge in the room.
