If you want to visit the 3-D museum or go on the cable car, the location is great, but if you are there after dark it is a complete ghost town - no restaurants or anything, and it was really hard to get a Grab car to the location. We selected the location due to its proximity to the ferry terminal, so it was a fine place to stay as a crash pad. It is only a 10 minute walk to a lovely almost completely secluded beach. It is also pretty close to the trail to the 7 wells waterfall. It is placed in the Oriental village which is like a tiny theme park so it does get a bit noisy from 9am onwards with music, tannoys, people, etc. Occassionally there was also maintenance noises at night. The room is comfortable with air con, nice bed, fridge, desk and en suite. The bathroom did look a little worn down and often there was the sound of constant running water. This personally didn't bother me too much though because I could just close the door and block out the noise. There was only one power point though and this did irritate me. The maids were excellent and always left the room immaculate. The reception staff were very friendly and were happy to help with any issue no matter how bizarre. They spent a long time trying to help me find a watch I thought I might have dropped in a taxi earlier. Overall a very good stay. Especially when it's not always certain that the Cable is in use during the whole day (due to weather (wind) conditions. There's is also a nice and quiet beach in a walking distance and cheap restaurants in the Oriental Village. Only downside was our aircone that sounded like exploding in the middle of night. Muutama juoma-automaatti loistaa yössä joista hyvällä tuurilla saa vettä. Jos tarkoituksena on keretä ajoissa hissillä ylös vuorelle niin yhden yön siellä voi viettää. Wifi oli aivan hyödytön jos ei muutamia whatsapp viestin pätkiä lasketa. Jos koneella täytyy jotain tehdä niin suosittelen jotain muuta paikkaa.
