Wyreside pod, ideal family break on fishing park close to Lancaster and Blackpool

Located midway between Morecambe and Blackpool, 8 miles south of Lancaster and moments from the M6, you will find this little haven of peace and tranquillity that is Wyreside Lakes and Fisheries. Spend relaxing days on the park with loved ones, fish to your hearts content or spend sunny days at the beach less than half an hours drive away. Located at the foot of the Bowland Fells there are 6 fishing lakes stocked with carp, mixed coarse, pike and catfish ensuring even a novice angler can land their first catch.

The site has a choice of accommodation with 6 pods perfect for small families and a static caravan with its own secure garden area. The site has a children's outdoor playground and plenty of space to run around and explore. Throughout the year there is regular entertainment in the form of live singers, fancy dress events and more in the licenced bar open on weekends and selected dates throughout the school holidays. There is a well stocked shop on site and laundrette for guests use. Please note the site is strictly for families or couples only, no stag or hen parties accepted.

These 6 pods are close to the fishing pools, children's play area and toilet/shower block. Equipped for everything needed for a break away.

Each pod has a kitchenette with fridge, microwave and kettle. Outside is a small patio area with picnic table and fire pit.

Double bed and bunk beds for children under 15.

Shared use of the toilet and shower block.

All electric and bed linen is provided but please bring your own towels. Parking for 1 car. Patio area with picnic bench and fire pit.
