"We had a wonderful stay at Lake Lure and enjoyed the condo. It is well stocked with everything you need. It is a short drive to the Lake and all the amenities at Rumbling Bald including the indoor pool, mini golf, hot tub and good food at Legends. We used the condo as a home base to go climb Chimney Rock and see Asheville. We had great communication with the owner and a neighbor who helped take care of things. It was a great getaway and recommend it."

"Our extended family of 9 (ranging in age from 8 weeks to 65 years) went to celebrate Christmas and had a wonderful time. The house's views were even better than the listing. There was plenty of space for everyone and it was very close to attractions like ziplining, Chimney Rock, and of course the Lake. The kitchen was well-appointed, and it was especially helpful that the property had a pack and play with a bassinet available so we didn't have to lug ours along. Some things to be aware of...

"The cabin was in a beautiful, quiet mountain neighborhood. We were greeted by deer upon arrival. We brought our two smalls dogs who loved the river and mountain trail. We were very happy with our stay"

"Fantastic overnight stay. Room was clean and fresh. Early evening (SAT NIGHT) a little loud music from the restaurant/pub across street but that ended early. I love the porch rocking chairs and view of mountain! I might suggest to owners that they don’t allow guests to smoke directly outside of their room, but perhaps a designated area down at far end. Often when I opened my door to the porch, I could smell cigarette smoke. Otherwise, a great place to stay! "

"This was our first trip to 1927 Lake Lure Hotel but not the last I hope. Staff was excellent and so helpful. The room was very clean. The whole property is so pretty and the antiques are a very nice touch in the lobby as well as on every landing. The only thing I would add is to have restaurant open we would have rather to have eaten there. Hope to come back with my best friends for a girl trip soon. "
