Top Lake Eyre Basin Hotel Reviews
Rawnsley Park Station
10/10 Excellent
"I had a fantastic stay at Rawnsley Park Station in the one-bedroom unit. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay in the Flinders Ranges. The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by incredible scenery and plenty of opportunities to explore the area. The unit was a great size for one to two people, with a comfortable bed, well-equipped facilities and a peaceful atmosphere. Waking up to the beautiful Flinders Ranges views was definitely a highlight. It’s a great base for exploring places like Wilpena Pound, Bunyeroo Gorge and the surrounding outback scenery. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended if you're looking for comfortable accommodation in an amazing outback location."
Broken Hill Tourist Park
8/10 Good
"Rooms are basic but that’s why they’re a ‘budget room’. Clean, tidy, and everything I used worked so can’t complain at all. Just what I need as someone who travels to the Hill for appointments etc and just needs somewhere budget to stay with my dogs, not somewhere luxurious. I will say, if you’re a light sleeper the road can be quite loud. Didn’t bother me one bit and I slept like a log, but for others I’d reccomend a different style room on the other side of the park, away from the road. Staff were friendly and helpful during the busy Mundi Mundi period which I appreciated."
