'Festa do Banho' (29 August) Please note that each year on 29 August Lagos celebrates the traditional 'Festa do Banho', which includes historical recreations, food and drinks, traditional swimwear parades and lots of musical entertainment. This is a great way to experience the local culture. The location for this event is usually on the beach directly opposite the block where this apartment is situated - which means that you will have a great view of the party and will be able to experience the wonderful atmosphere - but keep in mind that there will be loud music from the party. The 'Festa do Banho' takes place on 1 night only (29 August). However, other events may take place before that date. Please take this into consideration if you are intending to stay in this apartment at the end of August. Update January 2025: During 2025 there may be some minor maintenance works taking place around the common areas of the building where this apartment is located. This place was simply immaculate! It has everything and more. Location: gorgeous beach at your doorstep, old city right beside you. If you have a car like we did, parking included, secure, and most importantly, easily accessible. The staff were exceptional, from questions pre-check-in to the welcome and explanation of the apartment features. Everything clearly explained and available. In case you haven't been daydreaming about the view in the pictures, let me assure you it is every bit as amazing and MORE when that is your first sight in the morning. Truly a special vista. The apartment had everything we needed for an extended stay. It was clean and well cared for. Our hosts were very responsive to any questions we had and were very good communicating with us.
