Largo do Postigo A simply perfect, stylish open plan studio apartment, with superb location close to the renowned focal square, “Praça Gil Eanes” in the centre of Lagos. Next to the “Largo do Postigo Miradouro” a viewing point which overlooks the main Avenida, the river and Lagos’s busy fishing harbour – these views which are also enjoyed from the kitchen balcony. This newly modernised and very chic apartment, on the 2nd floor of a quaint condominium, has been tastefully renovated and decorated. The owners have chosen high quality finishing’s and furnishings giving the apartment a feeling of luxury. You will find all the modern comforts we come to expect from accommodation these days. The open space has been cleverly divided into definitive bedroom, lounge and kitchen areas and the apartment is both light and airy. The bedroom has a standard sized double bed (160x200) vintage inspired suspended bed side lights, and there is a large lap-top sized safe located in the fitted wardrobes. The lounge facilities include MEO cable TV offering a large number of channels in various languages, a 42” TV, a Marshall Bluetooth music player, Wi-Fi, ceiling fan and air con. A breakfast bar with quirky bar stools and marble granite worktop divides the lounge from the modern, white kitchen which has everything you will need including a combi oven / microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, ceramic hob, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine and electric juicer, not forgetting the small kitchen balcony with its great sea views. The bathroom has walk-in rain dance shower and superior quality finishing’s whilst underfloor heating and a heated towel rail, ensure comfort even in the cooler months. All the windows are double glazed and have electric shutters. All bed linen and towels are supplied. The owner would be willing to put in one travel cot suitable for under 3 years, making the apartment suitable for 2 adults, or for a couple with a young child. For those driving by car, secure off-road parking can be found in the Frente Riberinha underground car park 450 metres away. If arriving by train, then it’s just a 1km walk from the train station to the apartment, no more than 12 minutes on foot. Lagos is a vibrant, lively town with its myriad of winding streets and hidden gems. Wonderful in the summer months with numerous restaurants, bars and eclectic shops, plus street entertainment laid on for visitors and, equally delightful during the rest of the year for those wishing to escape the weather at home.
