The villa is located in the quiet area of Vale del Rei, near Carvoeiro. The villa sits in a secure private plot surrounded by beautiful trees and countryside. The large swimming pool (heating available upon request at €250 per week) forms the focal point with a large outdoor dining area including a bread / Pizza oven, gas & charcoal BBQ's, as well as two refrigerators. There are a number of areas outside to enjoy socialising as well as the covered BBQ dining area, including the covered terrace which is ideal for breakfast, the poolside table ideal for lunches, and the roof terrace with comfy sofas, is the perfect position to enjoy evening drinks and the sunset. There is a garden patio with additional sun-loungers and seating, perfect for morning coffees or shade in the afternoon. Casa Palmeiras has a comfortable open planned air-conditioned lounge and dining room with TV (any channels) and music system, as well as an additional TV snug with WiFit, DVD, and PlayStation 2\. The kitchen is brand new and is equipped with a double french fridge freezer, dishwasher, induction hob, microwave, oven, and washing machine. Es ist super eingerichtet und hat alles was das Herz begehrt. Es kommt langsam auch in die Jahre und müsste an der einen oder anderen Stelle wirder etwas angehübscht werden, zB die Füsse der Liegen sind durchgerostet. Ein paar Wände außerhalb könnten Farbe vertragen, zB da wo das Wasser aus den Beeten überläuft . Aber das sind wirklich Kleinigkeiten alles in allem hilfsbereite verbindliche Vermieter und ein schönes Haus, die Lage ist etwas abgelegen. ##### Kai B. Nach zahlreichen anderen Häusern erstmalig eines das mit Geschmack und Liebe eingerichtet wurde. Die Verteilung der Zimmer nahezu auf einer Ebene (Splitlevel) macht es einfach und schön. Ein grosser Pool und tolle Aussenbereiche mit Gasgrill und Holzkohle runden das Bild ab. Auch im Hochsommer gut nutzbar da viel Schatten. Einzig die Lage und die Wege zum Meer sind etwas länger, aber da meist gefahren werden muss kein wesentlicher Nachteil. Für kleine Kinder eher nicht geeignet da aussen viele scharfkantige Steinstufen. Alles in allem ein super Haus, wir kommen wieder! ##### Kai B. There was everything you needed to make this a home from home but with sun. We had a truly fabulous holiday, the best sun holiday we have ever had. The property managers made everything super easy for us, from directions to details left about key collection. The information in the property was brilliantly helpful, from which beaches had the best parking to restaurants and supermarkets. Whilst we had intended to explore the surrounding towns, beaches and caves, we found that we were actually quite happy visiting the various supermarkets to stock up on fresh food for the day and then returning to enjoy the various terraces and pool.
