The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel does look like it has seen better days. The room I got had quite a lot of imperfections (cracks on the walls, chipped paint, dirty walls) and it felt grimy in general but I openend the window and that helped. The bathroom did feel clean. The gym is fairly big for a small hotel and they had dumbbells from 5 to 50 lbs. Really appreciated that there's a shuttle from the airport to the hotel

Conveniently located close to the airport, would rank it the ideal place if flying out the next day. Has all one needs.

I recently stayed there for a week. Depends a little on what you are looking for. It isn't posh. If you want that then you need to stay somewhere else that will be more expensive. If you are looking for a cheaper option then this is a great option. Lots of pros. It is basically a safe and clean hostel run by extremely helpful, well organized and friendly people. Bed was very comfortable. Shared bathrooms and kitchen were all perfectly fine. It is a few minutes' walk at most from downtown. I would highly recommend if you are looking for an easy and economical place to stay downtown Yellowknife. So, 5 stars from me.

Hotel itself was clean but outside there were homeless people asking for money. There is no free parking available to customers and this was a big disappointment for me. Didn’t like parking on street because of homeless people in area.
