Check in was kind of wonky. They don't accept euro coins as payment for local taxes but take euro paper. Which is kind of confusing since it was only 4 euro to pay the local taxes I didn't have local currency in a low enough denomination to pay so I had to wait an extended period of time to have them get me change for 200 dirhams. The check-in person which I don't know his name because they did not have a name-tag or give a proper introduction was egotistical and condescending. Which is not good as the face of the hotel. The room was ok and the area the hotel was in was ok. Would not stay here again unless there wasn't another option as there are too many options of other places to stay.

I was on a two week tour of Morocco and stayed one night at the Urban Hotel in Kenitra while visiting a family friend.
The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the staff were polite and welcoming throughout the stay.
The only disappointing part was the breakfast. We were hoping for a more traditional Moroccan breakfast, but instead it was more of a standard continental buffet you would find in many hotels around the world. They did serve Moroccan tea and there were a couple of cold msemen, which was a nice touch.
The breakfast itself was good, just not quite the authentic Moroccan experience we were expecting. I imagine the hotel is mainly catering towards business travellers.
But all in all it was a very nice stay

Hospitality was the highlight of our stay! Staff is so warm, here for your every need and ensuring a quality stay throughout. The hotel responded to some of the minor issues we flagged immediately and followed up with apologies. The facilities are great, and the overall architecture is just impressive and grand. I highly recommend staying at Magazan if you are a beach, golf and food enthusiast. Immerse yourself in the smells of orange blossom and Moroccan wood as you walk down the air conditioned Moorish halls on a blistering hot day...
