La Plaine Vacation Packages

Our stay at Citus Creel Plantation was awesome. Patrice was an excellent host, the dinners at The Riverside Cafe were excellent & fresh bread every mornibg was a nice touch. We loved everything about our stay. The staff was very frindly, very clean....

Given the ratings/reviews & my experience with similar caliber properties around the world, I was disappointed in certain things. The security guard at the front gate of the property was extremely rude. Didn't welcome us but asked what we were doing there. Our driver was very taken back by his behavior & said he's never seen anyone so rude at this establishment. Two days prior to arrival, I was sent an email form w/ one of the questions asking when we'd be arriving. I selected the noon-2pm option & we arrived at 12:30pm. We were told that we were going to have to wait until 3pm to be taken to our villa. Check in had been advertised as 3pm, so I'm not exactly sure why they even provided a noon-2pm option on the form - it was misleading & set wrong expectations. They took our luggage to the villa & told us we could utilize the pool or beach while we waited. Well, our bathing suits were in our luggage so they had to fetch our luggage so we could change into our bathing suits. 3pm rolls around and no word. We ask at the pool bar & someone comes to us at 3:15pm to let us know we would be picked up in about 15min. Having to wait until AFTER the advertised check in time when we had been waiting 3hrs was extremely irritating. Another disappointment was the lack of bathroom toiletries that would be default at other places of this cost. Blackout blinds on 3 walls of windows but not the 4th in the bedroom. The view, privacy, activities, & hostess were great.

What impressed me most was the feet dim lights when going to the bathroom areas. The AC was very cold fridge worked very well The bed was clean and firm. You got robe slippers and chargers for phones. The food was amazing with heavy duty silverware different not like the regular plain silverware. What I found need to slightly adjust is the outdoor set up it was to close to other sitting areas the tables were to big so it looked cluttered. Lastly I was on the top floor I believe I was probably the only person at the premium level and at nights the took off the lights in the corridor walkway which I think they should kerp on it was dark walking in that area. Other than that Great service and most importantly CLEAN. I guess it was still new hopefully they upkeep the level.

We had an amazing stay at this resort in Dominica—it truly felt like an escape into nature. The views were incredible, and the whole setting was peaceful and refreshing. One of the highlights was the food. Every meal was outstanding, and Chef Damien made the experience unforgettable. You can tell a lot of care and creativity goes into each dish—it was easily some of the best food I’ve had while traveling. The staff was warm, welcoming, and clearly proud of their country. They loved sharing information about Dominica, from local culture to must-see spots, which made the experience feel even more personal and meaningful. Laerie took such good care of us at breakfast and lunch, remembering our likes and dislikes, and sharing interesting information about the food and property. Visiting the open air spa is a MUST! I had two massages, which were the best I have ever received! Noreen is fantastic, knowledgeable, and incredibly welcoming. We'd definitely come back. Book a visit now, you will be so glad you did!!!

The property was clean inside and out. We had an issue with our AC and they moved us immediately. You will definitely need a car, a driver or taxi to get to restaurants etc.
