The land is bordered by the river on three sides, which makes it impossible to get lost. It has discrete trails and a private beach (1 km hiking). The Red River flows quietly in this area, it is shallow. In summer you can rent a canoe or kayak and follow the river to the village of l'Ascension or Riviere-Rouge; you become part of nature. The cottage is recently built and offers all the necessary amenities and comfort. We were especially impressed by the well equipped kitchen which made our family dinners a breeze to prepare. The wooded property is huge and beautiful, with trails and spectacular views of the river. We loved the 30 minute walk down to the secluded beach, great excercise for us and our dog. If you like a private setting, surrounded by nature you will enjoy this place.
