Jun 14, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### I love Dornie Croft ! Communication with Shona was great previous to our break - all questions were answered. Dornie is a picturesque loch side village with a great pub, hotel and very short walk from the iconic Eilean Donan castle. Lots to see and do in the area - Skye is about a 20 minute easy drive and drivable to places like Torridon and Applecross. The property is stunning. When we walked in we just were wowed by the house, the furnishings and the beautiful view from the windows of the lakes, wildlife and hills beyond. I told Shona I thought I’d won the holiday rental lottery. I can honestly say I felt tangible sadness when leaving. Shona and her husband were very helpful and she gave me tips and ideas about trips I was planning. I wish I was there now and hopefully will return in the future. For anyone who needs to reconnect with nature or find some peace in their life - I can recommend - just don’t tell all your friends ;) Absolutely stunning ##### Joanna D. Stayed 7 nights in May 2023
