"It was an excellent stay, the staff was 110% helpful. Very nice and looked after our stay here. Would recommend it to everyone.
Food was great.
On a personal note; Saturday night they have a band I ask if they could set a time that I could propose to my fiance they set it up where we went up sat her down with a cake that said ( will you marry me it will be a time we both will never forget especially my soon to be wife."
"The hotel is bordered by the lake on one side and virgin forest on the other. I took 3 marvelous meals a day and the evening meal had a roaring camp fire. Staff were superb. A boat trip organised by the manager was wonderful, many lake birds, families of monitor lizards and a flock of african grey parrots! Rooms clean, food good, drinks cold, assistance with travel, infact assistance with anything. What more do you want! "
"Quiet and quaint during an early march visit. I think we were the only people staying there! Pool was great, and our room was right on the lakes edge. 50meters from the ferry terminal. Perfect if you’re looking for cheap and cheerful but don’t expect much more than the perfect base to explore the island"
"I stayed 2 nights in a Mirembe cottage- my friend had the cottage next door and we had a dedicated outside eating area, from where we were served our food.We were served by James who was consistently courteous and efficient .We felt like film stars on a tropical island as we ate delicious food sitting by the lake watching a wide variety of birds - it was just such a treat!"
"The staff is helpful and professional! Edrine went above and beyond on making us feel at home and was attentive to whatever was needed. The rooms are comfortable and AC and hotel water was available. Can wait to go back. "
