Love a personal sauna

A personal sauna…OMG! Apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. Bathroom was phenomenal. Check-in was self service, but that was well managed. If you came here in winter you literally walk out the front door to the ski lift.

Let's start with the positives. The hotel's location couldn't be better, situated right in front of the ski lifts and pistes. This made it incredibly convenient to hit the slopes first thing in the morning and to return to the hotel after a day of skiing. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean but without any cleaning services during the stay. Unfortunately, my experience with the Reception desk left much to be desired. Despite reaching out for assistance with various inquiries, I found the staff to be unhelpful and at times dismissive. This was especially frustrating when attempting to address issues with advice on snowshoe tracks and needing clarification on certain amenities and other bookings. It would be great if the staff could be more attentive and accommodating to guests' needs and use less: "We don't know!" Another downside was the breakfast options offered at the hotel. As a vegan with gluten restrictions, I found the selection to be quite limited. I encountered some issues with local taxis in the area. Despite travelling different distances, I was consistently quoted the same fare, which seemed unfair and inconsistent. No taxi meters. Overall, while Ruka Valley Inn has its merits, there are areas where improvements could be made to enhance the overall guest experience. With better customer service, expanded breakfast options, and improved transparency in local transportation, this could truly be a standout destination for ski enthusiasts.

Great hotel!

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel stay was helpful and kind. The room was comfortable and clean, the in room sauna was wonderful after a day of skiing.

New property but it is quite seperate from the village. My taxi dropped me off at Village because i asked him to but i didnt realize my hotel was so far as in required gondola ride with my luggage. Fine but i didnt realize that there was no easy walking path.

Toimiva konsepti. Hyvä, ettei tarvita avaimia. Respa kuitenkin tarvittaessa heti alakerrassa. Aamiainen oli erittäin hyvä. Huone hieman nautin kokoinen, mutta toimiva. Kylppärissä todella huonot valot huomioiden tummat kaakelit. Pesuallas liian pieni, sen syvyys olisi hyvin voinut olla 10 cm enemmän, niin käyttömukavuus olisi parempi. Samoin ammeen suojaseinä on niin kapea, että se tuskin esti lainkaan veden roiskumista vessaan.

Poreallas parvekkeella

Poreallas sai varaamaan huoneiston ruskaretkelle. RukaValley58 huoneiston parvekkeelta löytyy poreallas, mikä oli patikointipäivän jälkeen aika mahtava juttu. Allas oli heti valmis, joten saunan jälkeen sinne pääsi samantien. Veden lämpötilaa ei saanut itse vaihtaa, se oli asetettu +36'c asteeseen. Omasta mielestä asteet voisi ainakin talvea kohden olla +38'c. Huoneiston muut ominaisuudet toimi hyvin ja tuolla olisi varmasti viihtynyt muutaman yön kauemminkin. Kaksi makuuhuonetta ja kaksi vessaa tarjoaa mahdollisuuksia vaikka kahden pariskunnan yhteismajoitukseen. Sijainti ei ole keskeinen, mutta kyllä tästäkin ravintola vierestä löytyy.

Viihtyisä huoneisto tunturin toisella puolella

Tehokkaasti mutta laadukkaasti suunnitellut huoneistot ja tilat. Kaikki toimi niin kuin pitää. Kehitysideana sauna ajastintoiminnolla. Ainoa negatiivinen seikka on sijainti ja riippuvuus gondolin toiminnasta (voimakkaan tuulen takia oli pois käytöstä viimeisen vuorokauden) jos ei omaa autoa käytettävissä. Palvelut ovat yhä pääosin Rukakeskuksen puolella. Skibussit kulkevat harvakseltaan ja vain päivisin. Asiakaspalvelu oli erinomaista ja joustavaa!

Hotel is near skiing track. Also the lifts for alpine skiing are just next to it. Breakfast was comprehensive. Small negative issues were related to the late breakfast (opening at 8.00) and check-in (15.00) times.

Mukava huoneisto. Huollossa huolimattomuutta!

Huoneistossa oli parvekkeella poreamme, jonka käytön olimme varmistaneet pari päivää aikaisemmin soitolla. Vesi oli vaihdettu, mutta työ oli jäänyt kesken. Amme oli ollut vuorokauden auki ilman suodattimia ja parvekelasitukset tihkui märkänä vettä. Suihkutila oli jäätävän kylmä, kun ovi oli myös jäänyt vuorokaudeksi huoltomiehiltä auki. Ilmoitin respaan ja asia saatiin kuntoon.
