I was unable to get taxi service to respond. If I did not know someone in the area I would have been stuck at the hotel. It is not within walking distance to stores or restaurants. It took several hours to get a response from staff and I was never able to access laundry. It was very relaxing, quiet and clean. The property was beautiful.

Heerlijke plek, super rustig, groots en ruim opgezet. Heerlijk grote Thuin en erg mooie huisjes. Vlak bij de zee en Rhodos centrum met de auto op 8 min afstand.

Super schöne, gepflegte Anlage mit kleinen Häuschen. Die Betreiber bzw. Personen, denen wir dort begegnet sind, sind extrem freundlich. Die Häuser sind sauber, schön und gut eingerichtet (inkl. voll ausgestatteter Küche). Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und trotzdem ist man mit dem Auto schnell am Meer, in Kos Stadt - eigentlich überall.

The private entrance to the property was the first indication we had chosen for something special for our stay on Kos. Our week at Ta Spitakia was so relaxing that we spent less time at the beach and just lazed around the villas outdoor seating area or on the private sun loungers. The staff were exceptionally helpful and contactable 24hrs a day. The villa was cleaned thoroughly every day and had everything needed from making a cup of coffee to a family dinner. There is no room for cars to be parked beside the villas but parking is available inside the main gate. This was the most relaxing place I have stayed on Kos and look forward to staying there again.

Great apartment, clean and comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff, own terrace and parking box, well equipped kitchen, you can rent some bicycles. We definitely enjoyed it 🙃

Though Kos’ ‘ta spitakia’ was not our first choice, the residence turned out to be very cozy and the vacancies became absolutely magnificent. The accommodations can be described in the terms of ‘houses’, but it’s also so much more than this. Far enough from Kos town center not to be disturbed by the crowd, but not too far – once we’ve made the distance barefoot via the shoreline – it took 1 h 30 min. With the car (or a quad or a baggi or a scooter – the island’s full of the rental options) – 8 min. Hotel manager twice suggested us a ride to city center, if we need it, absolutely free, when it was on her way. In high season the distance from the airport to the hotel may be tricky without transfer, with public transportation you need to take a bus to Kos town, and then a taxi, which would be a lot cheaper than a transfer from the airport. We’ve took a transfer option, and got ourselves an ‘extra’ stop in a supermarket. If you have enough time and skills :) you may cook, the kitchens are equipped and it’s the best option for the families with the kids. There are no breakfasts also. And be prepared, the closest beach is in a walking distance of 15-20 minutes, so vehicle rental maybe is not ‘a must’, but ‘preferable’. You'd need it anyway to explore the island. Referring to the previous comments about wi-fi – we had absolutely no problem with it.

Wonderful stay in Ta Spitakia

The property was perfect. It was clean, comfortable and well furnished..IKEA style. All staff did a wonderful job from meet and greet to laundry and cleaning. No job was too small in their pursuit of our holiday happiness. Would thoroughly recommend this location to anyone.
