Private Villa Sapphire offers an ideal romantic and exotic escape, particularly for honeymooners and couples celebrating special occasions. Complimentary personal transfers also provided to the villa, both upon your arrival and also on your departure. Stunning Villa Sapphire is situated on a 22 acre area of ocean view hillside land known as Sitara Retreat, which provides 24 hour security. Sitara is an exclusive private residency, surrounded by nature, located in a superb setting with outstanding panoramic ocean views. The Villa is for 2 persons, and is one of three villas, set on a magnificent parcel of land, covered in granite boulders and swaying coconut trees. The rental of this villa includes complimentary/free 4 x 4 automatic vehicle. From the private car parking area, the impressive entrance is positioned between two ancient boulders, inviting you into the unique, open tropical-style Living area, that sits in complete harmony with the beautiful surrounding nature. Creatively positioned in the centre of the exotic Living area is a jetted plunge pool. Relax in the Living area where you can sit and enjoy the magnificent views of the beautiful, shimmering ocean. There is a 65 inch SMART tv with Netflix, YouTube etc to watch a variety of films and programmes. Leading from the Living area, is a small lotus pond, leading through to the Infinity edge, lovely salt water swimming pool, complete with sun deck, sun beds, and outstanding ocean views. A built-in gas barbecue is positioned by the poolside where you can cook freshly caught fish or meat from the local market or superstores. Enjoy a barbecue dinner at the villa, with the backdrop of the twinkling lights of the fishing boats out at sea. Rain shower located by the pool. Colourful tropical flowers and plants are beautifully set around the edge of the Living area. The imaginative, tropical open plan Kitchen, with electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer etc, has been creatively designed against a magnificent granite rock. Enjoy a romantic meal in the Dining area whilst admiring the captivating views across to the lovely Infinity edge pool and fabulous ocean. The upper floor consists of a spacious Bedroom en-suite with air conditioning, ceiling fan and balcony to sit, and appreciate the sensational ocean views. Utility room, with washing machine also provided. Guest wc - this is in addition to the Bedroom en-suite. Free fibre optic WiFi at the villa. Notes: Set in a beautiful and peaceful location, the Villa has air-conditioning to the en-suite Bedroom. Large flat screen 65 inch SMART tv with Netflix, YouTube etc. The Villa has been imaginatively and beautifully created, set within the huge granite boulders, providing sensational views and a romantic ambiance. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and linen provided. The villa is cleaned after every 3 nights, with change of clean bed linen and towels also after every nights. All our cars are insured, with the guest being responsible, and limited, for the first 20,000 Baht of any damage. There is no insurance on mopeds where the guest pays for any damage incurred. Neighbourhood description: Villa Sapphire is for couples that want a private and romantic setting with the most amazing ocean views that look over to the islands and also the mainland over 20 kilometers away. Within 5 drive from the Villa there is the charming area of Laem Sett. Within this area there is local Laem Sett beach, which is quiet and secluded. Here one can enjoy and admire a beautiful sunset, and sometimes see the local fishermen with their long tailed boats come into shore. Located on the beach is the popular Thai style Cool Bar when you can enjoy good food and a drink whilst soaking up the tranquil atmosphere. Also close by is ShaSa Resort, Centara Villas Resort and Samui Orchid which opens its doors to non residents and has many facilities to enjoy, including smart restaurants and bars. There are many fine restaurants serving delicious Thai and Western food, coffee shops, mini-marts for your daily needs, well reputed massage shops, taxi services etc within 5-10 min drive of the villa. Amphoe Ko Samui Stadium, only a 6 min drive away, is home to many popular sports events, where visitors can come to watch the activities. It is located in an attractive area, surrounded by a lake/reservoir where there is a football field, basketball etc and you can also walk around or jog with lots of shade. Also outdoor fitness park with brightly coloured exercise equipment which is free to use. Less than 10 mins away by car you have the fishing village of Baan Hua Thanon where fresh fish, fruit and vegetables are sold daily at the local market and also the home of several small local shops, coffee shops, doctors surgery, 24 hour Seven-Eleven grocery shop with ATM, together with a Chinese Temple. Lamai is a beach side tourist town a 10 min drive from the Villa. There are individual shops offering locally made souvenirs and clothes. When the sun goes down the streets come alive with lights from the night market and variety of restaurants serving excellent Thai and western dishes in the town and on the beach. Thai boxing is also popular and Lamai has its own professional and amateur boxing ring. Nearby to the villa many of the island's main attractions are less than 10 mins drive away, which include Namsuang Waterfalls, Crocodile Farm, Elephant trekking, The Grandmother Grandfather Rocks, water sports, excellent Thai cookery classes, a snake farm and many temples, amongst others. Here there still has the feel on Koh Samui of over 20 years ago, unlike the north of the island. We are frequently told by guests they find the Thai people in this southern part of the island extremely hospitable, and welcoming. In the north where it is far more crowded and touristy on the island there is not always the opportunity to discover the true warmth and charm of the local people. Remember nowhere on the island is more than 50 minutes away. The southern part of the island, where the villa is located, remains pretty much unspoiled, especially compared to the north. It still has that rustic charm appeal that the whole of Samui boasted years ago. Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances grâce à cet endroit. Ce lieu est calme, apaisant et la vue est grandiose. La villa est tout équipée et d'une très grande propreté. De plus, il n'y a pas de vis-à-vis, ce qui nous a permis de passer des vacances en tout intimité. Pour finir, le propriétaire nous a bien accueilli et nous a aidé à plusieurs reprises. Je recommande grandement cette Villa ! Ps: À prévoir un scooter ou une voiture pour les déplacements. ##### Nazife B. Die Kommunikation vor der Anreise und während des Aufenthalts war einwandfrei. Wenn man ein Problem hatte war Dave immer direkt bereit zu helfen egal um was es ging. Er gibt einem Tipps für die Insel und einen tollen Guide an die Hand, mit dem kaum Wünsche offen bleiben. Die Villa war sehr gut gelegen, in einer Privatstraße und nur Anwohner haben Zufahrt. Die Villa selber war sauber, gut ausgestattet und hatte einen atemberaubende Aussicht auf das Meer und die Nachbarinseln. Der Leihwagen ist auch im Preis inbegriffen und auf jedenfall notwendig für die Insel. Wir haben damit jede Ecke erkundigt.Wir werden eines Tages bestimmt wieder kommen. ##### christian k. Anything I needed they were responsive and many days I didn't even want to leave the Villa because it has a beautiful view, great infinity pool and hot tub for cooling off on those hot summer days. The first thing you will notice when arriving at this villa is the amazing view. Literally breath taking waking up each morning to it. Pros: Very private and quiet. Breathtaking view. Full kitchen and grill is super convenient. Short drive to most attractions. 4x4 Fortuner provided for your stay that will get you literally everywhere you want to go on the island. Close to very private beaches. Dave was very responsive and quick to fix anything. Picked us up and dropped us off at the airport as described. Great host. Washing machine is available but I used a near by laundry service for pretty cheap. Very well thought out rain covers and tarps to provide protection from rain and privacy from the villa next door. Cute cats that hang out with you. Netflix is provided on the big flat screen. I was able to screen mirror to it from my phone for other video streaming services. Cons: Mosquitos, but that's not exclusive to this villa. Its mainly open air so bring spray. I ended up being a buffet for them. Jacuzzi is not heated, or at least I couldn't figure out if it was. To be clear, the expectation was never set that it was heated but I saw the jets and assumed it was. Drive to the villa can be a bit scary due to the steepness of the road but you get used to it really quick. Bed is a bit stiff but there is a thin foam topper that makes it bearable. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want a nice romantic get away for you and your partner. ##### Michael S. Udlejer stillede en bil til rådighed, som gjorde det mulig at komme rundt på øen, Udlejerene var altid søde og hjælpsomme med alle spørgsmål. Sengen var meget hård, men det kan jo være svært at tilfredsstille alle i den afdeling Ellers et rent ogg pænt hjem og vi har ingen klager ##### Annet F. Here you can enjoy a private atmosphere. The area around the villa is quiet and away from the tourist crowds. Good food is possible nearby. The absolute highlight is Dave, who has thousands of tips available about almost everything and is always happy to help with questions and problems. Absolutely TOP !! When we booked, I had reservations about the remoteness of the villa and whether we may struggle with that. Whilst it is somewhat remote, we had no difficulty getting around during our 2 week stay here, nor did we find it to be very far away from useful amenities and places of interest. In fact, for us it was a perfect mix of feeling seculded in a completely private setting and being able jump in to local life when you fancied it! A word of warning - you will probably need to rent a car! For those of you who, like me, can get a little nervous driving in new places, rest assured - although initially I was nervous, it all ebbed away when I realised that there isn't really such a thing as road rage in Thailand - you can just poodle - and the control I am so used to in the UK goes somewhat out the window (you can park pretty much anywhere, for example). Despite being different, this didn't take long to get useful and in truth is quite refreshing - something I will miss! Regards the villa - what a beautiful place this is! When I first walked in and saw the view, I think I struggled to pick my chin up from off the floor. You have a 180 degree view here - made up mainly of blues and greens but the odd speck of tropical colour comes in all around. If you like sea views, you will not be disappointed with this place. If you like sunsets and evening skylines, you won't be disappointed either. Point of fact, I think if you are remotely disappointed with the view this villa provides, there may be something wrong! The villa is also larger than it looks in the pictures. It is a beautiful 'inside out' design and personally we really loved all the nature around us, however if you're not a fan or geckos/frogs/dragonflies and other typically tropical animals then this might not be the place for you. Because of the inside out design, our only warning is to come prepared for the mosquitos - those little tropical vampires had a good few meals out of us! It was only because we were underprepared though, so just be aware and pack the repellent and cream you need. David, our host, was exceptional.Transfers to and from the airport were included and we had no problems there at all. David clearly knows his stuff and was really helpful both before and after our arrival - he was very patient with all my questions too, which is to his credit! Thank you David (& Neung and all the staff) for a truly wonderful stay. A great choice! ##### Debbie W. Thank you David When we arrived David was waiting at the airport, he gave us loads of information on the journey to the villa sapphire. He stoped on the way so we could get a few provisions for when we arrived, advised us on some the best places to eat as well as things to see and do. A lovely man! When we first walked in to villa sapphire we were lost for words, the most amazing views, beautifully designed villa a truly overwhelming experience. The infinity pool was fantastic and we spent lots of evenings in the jacuzzi in the middle of the main room. The cleaning lady's came in every 3 days with fresh towels and bedding. All of the staff at the resort were friendly and accommodating. We had the best holiday ever and I can't recommend the villa enough, we will be going back to one of Davids villas again, it is a must. Thank you for such a great experience and fabulous place to stay the views are beyond belief a truly 5 star experience all the way!! Thank you ##### Terry S. The villa is confortable, well organized, very clean even the outdoor part. As usual, David and his team are lovely, charming. If you have an issue, they can fix it by the end of the day. The place is located in a very quiet area. Don't expect restaurants, bars, etc in walking distance. It's the perfect gateway to relax, surrounded by the Sea and the tropical trees. Eine sehr schöne und saubere Villa, die in Wirklichkeit noch viel mehr bietet als es die Bilder erahnen lassen. Der Abhohlservice durch Dave hat super geklappt, dafür nochmals Danke Dave !! Es ist sehr ruhig in der Gegend, auch weil die Villa etwas abgelegen in den Bergen liegt. Der Zugang ist durch den steilen Anstieg etwas beschwerlich und welcher eigentlich nur mit einem Fahrzeug zu bewältigen ist. Hat man es aber geschafft, dann entschädigt der tolle Ausblick für alles. The location was great, the owner arranged airport pick up and drop off. We had cleaning coming every three days and ample information about how to get around the island.
