We enjoyed our stay very much. The grounds are so peaceful and beautiful. The only problem we had was no access to ice (nor an ice bucket in our room). We had to go to front desk to ask for it and take it back to room. Other than that small inconvenience, it was a lovely stay.

Lovely Lodge

We loved our stay at RT Lodge. The lodge was cozy, clean, beautiful, and tasty food. This was our second stay at this lodge and we would love to stay again!

Seriously what an incredible experience. The property is gorgeous. The room wasn’t fancy but it was really comfortable. The staff were all extremely kind. THE FOOD….. best I’ve had in East Tn! I can’t wait to go back!

Very Beautiful place to stay. Food at the restaurant is excellent but the service is slow. Took close to 10 minutes before I was offered something to drink. But everything else is spectacular.

Perfect in every way!

Absolutely amazing property! I loved it and can’t wait to come back and bring my husband with me. The downstairs bar/lounge area was so cozy with the fireplace and Christmas decorations.. the tomato bisque and grilled cheese was perfect. My only complaint would be that my room was a bit chilly at night & I couldn’t seem to get it warm. If I were staying more than one night, I would have asked about it. The staff was so friendly and helpful- I really enjoyed my very brief stay there.

Charming Inn

The R T Lodge is lovely and charming. Nestled in the woods of Maryville College, the inn is a delightful retreat offering comfort and respite from the day to day. Bring your walking shoes to enjoy the woodland trails and the beautifully landscaped gardens. We didn’t eat dinner at the restaurant, but breakfast was fabulous (gluten free muffins made my day better)! Our room had two twins, perfect for our mother and daughter trip. We were delighted with the quality linens and overall charm of our room. Coffee and tea were available in the lobby. Everything was as it should be at the RT Lodge

So cozy and tons of potential!

The RT Lodge is sooo cozy you will swear you are somewhere else. Greeted by friendly staff member who clearly loves her job! Super nice restaurant and bar! Lovely outdoor area! Quiet and safe… The Lodge has a ton of potential…and they may need to act on that to gain a repeat population. It still looks and feels like a training facility. AC is not in the rooms, so I could see summer being a bit of a challenge. Holiday decorations were minimum but ohhh so much potential to make the lodge amazing looking. Will be back in the fall!

The property was beautiful! The rooms were not quite what were expecting - the bathrooms feel similar to a camp cabin. They are very small and old. The provided toiletries (mini lotion/shampoo/conditioner) had been opened and used prior to our arrival. The bed was very comfortable though and the decor was very nice. Dinner at the restaurant was great, but my husband felt he had some minor* food poisoning from the pork. Overall, the experience is very fun and feels very unique. We loved how close the hotel rooms are to the restaurant/main building - very convenient and parking is too! The grounds are also stunning in the spring!

RT Lodge is absolutely amazing! All of the staff are super friendly, courteous, and accommodating. The lodge is so cozy, with numerous fireplaces burning all throughout the morning, day, and night. The 2 living rooms to relax in had the most comfortable chairs and ambiance. The lodge restaurant is some of the best food I’ve ever had! Everything is made from scratch. Sooo good! The included breakfast was fantastic, with fresh juices, coffee, tea, homemade pastries and breads, eggs, homemade granola and yogurt, fresh fruit- you name it! The room was the perfect size for my mom and me, the bed was so comfortable and it was very quiet. The property is surrounded by the woods, so everywhere you look there is beauty. They have free evening s’mores by the outside fire pit, which was a real treat! The joy fish pond was beautiful and all the on-site walking trails were so beautiful and serene. They also have free bicycle rentals to use during your stay. The property is the perfect size- not too large, but just large enough to have your privacy. A great place to socialize or just to relax. I cannot say enough great things about this lodge!

What a great place to stay. The staff is amazing and the property is beautiful. They provide bikes that can be ridden along their beautiful trails and a fire pit that’s complete with the makings for some mores. I cant imagine staying anywhere else in maryville.

RT Lodge is a serene getaway near the entrance to the Great Smokies. The food is top-rated (they just earned a Michelin recommendation) and the new spa blew me away. I stayed an extra night to go back to the spa. The pricing is reasonable for the quality and service.
