Knight Lake Tours and Activities

The rooms need AC. I wish Expedia didn't show me this hotel when I searched for hotels in Kamloops it was an hour away. We got ourselves sorted the staff were nice thankfully. It was just not a good time as I had the RV and to park so far away and the room had no airconditioning heh oh well

Lobby was bare bones, not particularly welcoming. Front desk was receptive over the phone from the room but felt dismissive in person. Room 208 - distinct smell of urine or perhaps unable to remove smell of chlorine from pool from the carpet by the door. Missing: stir stix and creamers for coffee, only 1 facecloth for 2 people, no bathmat for tub. Decor is dingy and needs repair or cleaning. 2 small windows facing pool are very dusty. Mesh screens? Why? Are there flying insects around the lagoon? Bathroom tiles cracking. Tub was clean, water pressure good. Toiletries were difficult to maneuver for someone with arthritis but otherwise fine. Not enough places to hang towels. Coffee/tea station minimal. No bottled water offered. Fridge barely cold. Balcony facing pool does not have a chair but not a pleasant place to sit anyway. Interior facing lagoon sounds interesting but no reason to book this room for that reason. Not much to see but a pile of cardboard boxes stored in the area. It gives the feeling of lesser value because the lagoon seems it is more important for storage than aesthetics. Disappointed to find that there was no breakfast included. I may have missed that originally. Apparently the restaurant serves a good brunch. Instead of a discount card for an appetizer with purchase of 2 entrees, perhaps a 25% discount on any meal at the restaurant would be better. Unfortunately this hotel is not giving me much of a reason to return.
