Al-Pac-Em Inn - Farm Stay

  • "Al-Pac-Em Inn" will bring you closer to nature and farm animals while you take time out to explore all the natural wonders and pristine beaches that Kangaroo Island has to offer.

    Conveniently located on the outskirts of Kingscote this modern home has been exclusively designed for visitors to relax and feel at home. Providing complete comfort with reverse cycle air-conditioning, additional bathroom and a spacious entertaining and living area that leads out to the large deck.

    Providing a private and restful setting for guests to relax and unwind while the children play safely in a secure yard.

    Children in particular, will find their stay very interesting at "Al-Pac-Em Inn" where they can pat and cuddle all the wonderful farm animals, including miniature ponies, cows, goats, pigs, chickens and the always entertaining alpacas. In the spring you can bottle feed the orphaned baby lambs (when available) or hand feed Kate the Clydesdale.

    "Al-Pac-Em Inn" aims to provide you with something a little special with the colourful cheeky animals keeping the kids busy for hours.

Only about 10mins from shops, yet you're on a quiet farm which included alpacas, horses & chickens. Super friendly host that came to say hello. Great location off an easy access street. Massive place that will comfortably fit up to 8 people. Best place to atay on Kangaroo Island.

A Great Time on KI

Great place to stay as a couple of couples - plenty of room; great location, and very well set up property.Peaceful and out of town - but close to Kingscote.Feeding the animals and meeting Mick's menagerie was an added bonus and was most enjoyable.We had a great time exploring the island and eating and drinking too much.A very pleasant and relaxing experience.Would highly recommend staying at Al Pac Em Inn.

Great place to stay....home from home with the added attraction of all the animals

Lovely big house with all amenities required to enjoy a nice relaxing stay. Ideal for families with children. I loved the outside covered decking area with BBQ for leisurely breakfasts or a glass of wine in the evening.

Great family holiday accommodation

Fantastic family accommodation. Our teens loved the space and privacy, but it would also be perfect for younger families. The house was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. The animals were lovely to wake up to every morning. Highly recommend!

1st time farm stay experience and what a lovely home and host. Greeted by two beautiful horses who we got to feed every day, and our host made sure we had everything we needed. Even though we had been before to KI, he gave us new ideas and places to go.Our 3yr old son loved all the animals and he was super excited to check out if the chickens had left eggs for us every morning.The house was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We had good and clear communication for the host, and we couldn’t thank them enough for a lovely stay.

5 Star stay, we wanted for nothing the whole stay. Home is well appointed, clean and comfortable. Centrally located for tourist day trips. Fantastic Holiday Farm Stay

We had a great time at the farm. It has everything you need. Mick and Mandy ecen left us tea, sugar, coffee and a heap of fresh eggs, which webt down a treat. The kids loved feeding the animals, they had a great experience. Would certainly recommend to everyone who wants to visit KI.

Very comfortable and Spacious

A great location, very neat and tidy. Perfect for our extended family holiday with the in-laws. Was wonderful to be able to go outside and pat and feed the horses and cows. Definitely recommend it. Only small hiccups the property address on the listing was completely wrong so had to call to get the correct address after searching for a while and most of the DVDS didn't work having been scratched so much by use, all easily remedied :)

Was kindly greeted by the owner and the two resident horses! And bonus buckets of horse feed were left at our door to feed the horses! House was clean and efficient however we would have appreciated shampoo and Wi-Fi.

Everything was perfect. Thank you so much Mick and Mandy for having us stay at your awesome farm stay. We all loved feeding the horses and collecting the eggs (from the 3 year old to the 73 year old!!!). House, bedding, bathrooms, kitchen were all awesome. Will definately be back to stay again :)

Mick and Mandy have provided the most unbelievable property and farm stay experience!

Cannot rave highly enough about this property/farm stay! The experiences for the children are unforgettable (and us adults alike!). Feeding the horses, the cows, the chickens, collecting eggs, the gardens, the space, the fresh air, the lovey, cosy and spacious home, the close proximity to Kingscote but still far enough away.... absolutely wholesome living! Cannot thank Mandy & Mick enough for providing such a very reasonably priced sancturary come haven, come home away from home - that our whole family didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back and will tell all and sundry about this lil gem!🙏
