When it’s time to venture further afield, the stunning North Norfolk coast is within easy reach for days spent beachcombing, birdwatching, or picnicking by the dunes. Nearby Burnham Market (11 miles) and Holt (18 miles) are well worth a visit, each boasting a mix of boutique shops, galleries, and tempting cafes for a leisurely afternoon. History lovers will be in their element with Holkham Hall, Houghton Hall, and the royal Sandringham Estate all within 15 miles, each offering magnificent architecture and parkland to discover. For those drawn to nature, the coastal reserves at Holme and Titchwell (within 16 miles) are teeming with wildlife, from migrating birds to seals basking along the shore.
