This exceptionally decorated and centrally located paradise in Kill Devil Hills is sure to be your next family-favorite Outer Banks vacation rental! Please note that the community pool at Bermuda Bay is currently unavailable due to an unexpected structural issue. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as repairs are underway. Around here, location is everything! Positioned on the west side of the island, this soundside condo is located in the Cambridge Cove neighborhood, part of the Bermuda Bay community. This community is widely known for enjoying sunset viewing and quiet vacationing. The exclusive amenities available to you as a guest of this wonderful resort include a lazy river, sparkling pools, a fun splash pad with various water features lots of fun toys, and plenty of sun loungers for relaxing. The Elbow Beach Clubhouse includes a fitness center, lounge area, pool table and a full bathroom for guest use. The clubhouse and fitness center are open year around from 7:00am to 9:00pm. The Bay has a pier perfect for fishing, launching kayaks, or just enjoying the view. During the day, visit the beautiful beaches of Kill Devil Hills conveniently located only a one-mile drive from the Bermuda Bay communities. The Wright Brothers Monument and national park is within walking distance; a great opportunity for a morning jog! Or spend the day taking in the nearby attractions which include the Bodie Island Lighthouse or day trips to Hatteras Island, Duck, and Corolla. After a full day of activities, kick back to relax on the second level with a refreshing beverage in the comfortable living area while the chef of the group prepares dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. There's plenty of seating for everyone including a dining area for five and additional seating at the island bar for four. (A wooden high chair is available upon request.) On this level, there is also a half bathroom for convenience. After dinner, head out onto the deck and check out those brilliant stars in the sky. For more after dinner entertainment, you'll find board games and books to enjoy while staying at Sea Therapy. All the TV's in the house are smart TVs and including Netflix, Prime and all big streaming platforms. Just bring along your passcode and you'll be watching your favorite shows in minutes! When it's time for bed, you'll find the sleeping arrangements on both the third and fourth levels. On the third level, you'll sleep cozy in one of the two King En Suites. On the fourth level, whoever stays here will feel like a King and/or Queen with their own private En Suite with Two Queen Beds. The full bathroom in this suite has a tub and shower combo which is great for kids! All sleeping areas are constructed with comfort in mind! Looking for some added fun at Sea Therapy? Head down to the first level. Here is a recreation room with a comfortable living area and 2 arcade games. More relaxation is found on the back patio - yet another way to enjoy the Outer Banks skies. We were really disappointed with the cleanliness of this place. It’s a nice home, and it fit our needs, but it definitely could’ve been cleaned better. I actually went and purchased a mop on the first day because the floors were so sticky I couldn’t stand it. One of the bathrooms had like a moldy/fungus-y village forming, and all the air vents were molded over. There was scuffs all over every wall, which in combination with the mold and floors, made it feel dirtier. Every dish we touched needed to be completely washed before use. I’m not like a super clean freak but this was just kind of gross. We were also disappointed that the pool was closed- which, stuff happens so we understood- but the fact that the game room/clubhouse was also closed with no notice of it kind of sucked. We did pick this place based on pool access so that stunk. Unfortunately, upon first step we realized the place was filthy. The kitchen smelled of old seafood and we discovered crab meat and claws under the kitchen drain (there is no garbage disposal). The kitchen cabinets were splashed with old food. All the walls of the home were smeared with hand smudges and marks. The main bedroom smelled of wet dog and there were stains throughout all the carpeted areas. The tv in the 3rd floor bedroom did not function. The air conditioning was either ice cold or completely off. WiFi was not functional upon arrival and management was no help as they said they would call us right back and never did. After 3 hours, we discovered that a breaker switch had blown...we fixed that ourselves. We also ran to the store to purchase cleaning products to clean the place ourselves as best we could. This was such a shame because the home itself seems like a very nice property, just not well managed. ##### rachel j.
