Originally a 1900's sawmill this barn transformed in 2012 with a complete renovation to provide a truly unique and unforgettable stay. Take a deep breath of fresh air and listen to the water run down the stream outside the barn on this 8 acre property surrounded by National Forest. You will feel complete peace while also being minutes away from Mt Rushmore (2.4 miles) and Custer State Park (15 mins). Community Pool (heated) open 10am to dark Memorial Day to Labor Day. When we opened the door all of that disappeared! What a cute cottage!! The extra touches of s'more kits, feminine products in the bathroom, blankets fold nicely over the couches really made it feel homey. Plenty of space for the 6 of us inside and out.
