Wake up each morning and watch the 1880 train pass by or enjoy your coffee on the back porch with the visiting wildlife. If you're planning a motorcycle trip, this home has very limited gravel on the driveway and one garage stall to park in. Bringing ATV's/UTV's? There are nearby forest service roads for riding and the Hill City trails aren't far away! You can even unwind in the evenings with some foosball in the bonus room. With everything so convenient in a beautiful location, why stay anywhere else? Loved the privacy and we love coming to South Dakota during off season!It snowed one day and there were tons of deer, everywhere, every day. It was definitely cool to see them.While we weren't super fond of doing dishes by hand every day, we were aware of this during booking.The negatives we didn't know about were; the tv in the bedroom doesn't work. There are knobs missing on a lot of kitchen cabinets and there is no working ice maker. Lastly, I can confirm that there is a bible, religious magazines/books on the coffee table and side tables.
