The house was in a very nice neighborhood. It felt very safe the entire trip. There was construction going on throughout the week with a new home being built but the house has good sound proofing. Very close to a small beach. You can't swim in it but a good location that you can walk to see the sunset. The pool is nice but it sets on a timer that goes off at 5pm so you can't really use it after that. The propery needs a net because a lot of bugs got into water and the pool filter couldn't keep up.The kitchen was great. The area restaurants are pretty bad so we utilized the kitchen for most food. The restaurants are overpriced and almost all open air, so if you like sweating and swatting flies as you eat, have at it! They supply a espresso machine and keurig but a simple coffee machine would be helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the house. Marathon itself, is just okay. If you come to boat and fish, I could see it as a good location. If you're a foodie and beach goer, I'd look somewhere else.
