Key Colony Beach is a small, friendly, walkable island in the heart of Marathon, the Florida Keys. Located mere minutes from beaches, bike and running paths, golf courses, tennis courts, the Dolphin Research Center, Aquarium Encounters and the Turtle Hospital. This home boasts two master suites with king size beds, a large oversized private pool. All the amenities were spot on and easy to use! The pool was absolutely the highlight of the vacation for our children. I cannot say enough about the hospitality and ease around the reservation and check-in process. It was almost so easy that it made me nervous! We were able to check in as expected with no issues or delays. Upon walking through the front doors, the kids were in awe of the Grande air of the home. To say they were thrilled was an understatement. The home was clean and furnished in a way that made it feel safe and comfortable. The layout of the home was ideal as our 18 year old son took the upstairs suite, the 10 year old took over the downstairs queen and bathroom and my husband and I enjoyed the downstairs master. The kitchen was contemporary and made us feel at home with upgraded appliances and decor. The pool was perfect (though we wish it had a hot tub and that the cushions were replaced on the furniture). The outdoor dining table was used multiple times. The dock on the back was relaxing in the morning and evening, we even caught fish and saw a manatee in the evening.
