Kettle Lakes Provincial Park Tours and Activities

The hotel is okay. Breakfast is amazing since it’s a hot breakfast and staff are friendly but the hotel itself is not well maintained. Still very dated and the carpets look old. A musky smell. The air condition in one of the rooms doesn’t work and the wifi is very spotty. Sometimes I’ll have no wifi. The fridge also makes noises that I had to unplug it to sleep. The first room had wires hanging on the window from the window cleaner who left the wire there and that’s why I had to change rooms. It’s in the downtown area of Timmins so there’s sometimes homeless people lingering outside the hotel. One night there was a homeless person idling between the doors to stay warm. And another time, a homeless person came in to sit on the couch for a brief moment to relax. While I understand the homeless people situation is hard to control, this can scare the hotel guests and make them feel uneasy to stay at the hotel. Perhaps upping the security by having guests scan at the door may help or brighten the exterior of the hotel can help.

Perfect on the go breakfast

Interior the room has a horrible broken down old roof patched up many times cause of water problems or something similar to that. It is an eyesore it is. It looks like a dog house then they put 160 screws in the corner of the door in our we’re paying full price here minimum we can do is a higher adequate staff to fix your things or send the people to the two courses that they can learn how to repair things correctly. You guys are just asking maintenance people to do extreme construction work.
