The street is actually a boardwalk mounted on a set of stakes that support the dwellings built on the water. Formerly it was the district of the red light of Ketchikan. The brothels were banned and closed in 1954. Now the street is a place with shops, galleries, totems and the museum of the House of Dolly. Creek Street was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014. A Creek Street é uma área histórica de Ketchikan. It was bery convenient with our dogs and the neighborhood was great, I just dont feel like this is conducive for an extended stay. If we had to stay in Ketchikan again for a day or 2 we would definitely stay here again. Can see bears, beaver, mountain goats, eagles, Salmon run, seals, and deer all within 15 min drive. WiFi worked perfectly. This place has a covered parking area also.
