When I walked into my room, the first thing I noticed was how clean and well-maintained everything felt especially the beds, which were comfortable, room had a microwave and mini-fridge. The hallway carpets did look a bit worn, and the air-conditioning units have definitely outdated. A short stroll from the hotel is a KFC or McDonald’s if you’re in a hurry, and you’ve also got Tim Hortons, A&W, and even a local chip truck if you want something different. I tried dinner at The Forest Room Restaurant. The menu ranges from juicy burgers to fresh salads, and I appreciated the friendly staff who seemed genuinely happy to recommend their favourites Later, I popped into the Capricorn Lounge for a cold, locally brewed beer t’s a cozy spot that was perfect for winding down. A few things to keep in mind: the indoor pool area (including the hot tub) looked like it could use some TLC.
