As long as a room is clean, we are happy. The good stuff – the little red cabin was very cute and very clean. It was sparse and rustic inside but had a dining set and two beds which is exactly what we needed for our one-night stay. The not-so-good stuff - I was honestly shocked to learn that we were expected to pay €10 PER PERSON for bed sheets and towels. Those are not optional luxuries — they are a fundamental part of any accommodation. They directly affect comfort, hygiene, and sleep quality. Charging extra for something so fundamental felt unreasonable and frankly inappropriate. Bed linens are a basic expectation in any accommodation. Even a budget hostel we stayed at in Helsinki included sheets and towels as standard. We declined to pay the additional fee out of pure principle. As a result, I slept fully clothed, on top of the comforter and under my coat. While I managed, this is not something any guest should have to experience. Overall, while the cabin itself was charming and clean, the additional charge for bed linens significantly impacted our experience.
