The vacation rental is located in a central, historic district of Kirchditmold and invites you to take a daily stroll through a area characterized mainly by half-timbered buildings. The famous parsonage is right across the street and offers a taste of the romantic Mergellstraße. Everything is just a stone’s throw away. Thanks to its excellent location, the Wilhelmshöhe train station is a leisurely 1.2 km (10–15 minutes) away—easy enough to reach with a short walk. Alternatively, you can reach your temporary new home comfortably and without transferring by bus (or tram). The same route takes you to the city centre, and even the Bergpark is within easy reach. You’ll get a taste of what’s to come with a direct view of our famous Hercules statue. If you’re arriving by car, a parking spot awaits you, and if you happen to be arriving by private jet, Calden Airport is just a 15-minute drive away. To relax in the fresh air, you’ll find Aschrottpark or the Stadthallengarten nearby. Enjoy culinary delights at Taverne Odysseus, Urfa Grill, Bierkontor, or Restaurant Baguetteria Pizza & Pasta. Or would you prefer Athena Gyros Grill? On the other hand, thanks to the fully equipped kitchen, you can also prepare your own meals right in the historic apartment. We also highly recommend (based on personal experience) our Café Amthor for a light snack. All of the restaurants mentioned are within 500 metres—just a stone’s throw away, as promised.
