Enjoy comfortable accommodation in Gumnut, Kangaroo Valley. The getaway is nestled in lush open fields, woodland, and a lot of kangaroos visible right at your doorstep— just 5km from the centre of Kangaroo Valley, where tourists often gather. Nearby are Hampden Bridge, Budderoo National Park, and Fitzroy Falls.  
  
IMPORTANT NOTE: There will be some animal and tractor noise during your stay with us as we are a working farm that cares for animals and crops.

The Space:  
Gumnut by Tiny Away sits in a small town of New South Wales, a comfortable Kangaroo Valley accommodation with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.  
  
A comfortable stay of approx 139 square feet with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities including a flushed toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).  
  
Guest Access:  
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas, including open paddocks and half of the farm. Please keep in mind, that the other half is a pastured egg farm, which guests are not allowed to enter.  
  
The Neighborhood:  
Gumnut by Tiny Away sits near Kangaroo Valley, that is astonishingly known for its wildlife, rich rainforests, lovely country atmosphere, and exciting attractions. The ideal Kangaroo Valley accommodation in New South Wales, near stunning waterfalls, bushwalking trails, and more.  
  
Discover the charm of Kangaroo Valley during your stay. Enjoy a hearty meal at Friendly Inn, grab breakfast or lunch at The General Café, or try the famous meat pies from Kangaroo Valley Bakery.  
  
Explore local sights like The Pioneer Museum, Belmore Falls, and Fitzroy Falls. Wander through Budderoo National Park for waterfalls and rainforest walks, or visit Hampden Bridge and Morton National Park for great views and bush trails.  
  
Pick up essentials or local goods at The General Store, your go-to spot in town.  
  
Getting Around:  
By car: 2 hrs from Sydney  
 5km from Kangaroo Valley township  
 Approx 30km to the Southern Highlands or the South Coast  
  
By public transport: There is a daily bus that meets the train in Bowral or Bomaderry, but it stops 3km from the property.  
  
Other Things to Note:  
\- Wifi is not available  
\- No smoking allowed on the property  
\- Free firewood is available for guests to use  
\- BBQ grill and Outdoor fire pit are available for use  
\- Mobile reception is good for Telstra and Optus  
\- Unregistered guests or visitors are not allowed  
\- Please advise that we have eight working dogs on the chicken farm  
\- Please take note to dispose of your trash properly, as we provide recycling bins for guests to use  
\- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge  
\- Please also note that the pond behind the tiny home has never been accessible (it’s a very shallow muddy pool full of reeds).  
  
Important note:  
  
\- The egg farm is strictly off-limits to guests due to biosecurity  
\- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property  
\- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban

Was an amazing first experience stayin in a tiny home! Definitely recommend staying there and are going to suggest it to friends and family! Not far from the small kangaroo valley town, and beautiful tourist destinations like all the waterfalls area too far of a drive too as well as the coastal towns of Kiama and gerringong!
