Pradeep and the rest of the staff were welcoming and bent over backwards to make our stay exceptional, and the property itself is simply one of a kind. It can be slightly challenging to find a Pick Me ride willing to go up the mountain, but there again the staff had us covered and arranged a tuk driver in under 10 mins. My only complaint is I only booked one night and didn’t stay longer. The places is maybe even more beautiful than the pictures, the rooms have incredible views over the city, plus they are modern and super clean (and A/C works well and it is quiet). Yes, the place is not in the center of Kandy, but you can very easily get a tuk tuk that will take to the center and back. Breakfast is very nice, especially the fruits and the Sri Lankan dishes (if you are up for a salty meal in the morning). But the true value added of this place is the staff. I need to call out especially Kogul. We travel a lot and have rarely met someone that would go above and beyond to try to help us. We had a last minute change of plans and needed to go back to the airport and, even if we had already checked out, Kogul found us a great driver and kept in contact throughout the journey back.
