We stayed at Hotel Summit for one night and would 100% recommend it. The room with the view is absolutely incredible. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming, and the breakfast is delicious. A wonderful experience, even for a short stay.

Highly recommend Kandy Hotel

Amazing experience. Cozy hotel with only 4 rooms. Very welcoming and feels like home. Great view from the top of the terrace and hotel room balcony. (Hotel at the mountain top) Breakfast and lunch are very delicious. Highly recommend!

Comfortable Stay with Amazing Views and Outstanding Service in Kandy We had a wonderful stay at Summit Hotel in Kandy. The decor all throughout the property has been thoughtfully put together. The room was lovely and very spacious, with an amazing view that made the stay extra special. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful — Pradeep and the rest of the team truly went out of their way to assist us with anything we needed. The newly installed Starlink WiFi worked perfectly throughout our stay. Breakfast was enjoyable, with very fresh and tasty fruits. The hotel also conveniently arranged tuk-tuks for us to go to the market and Kandy Lake and back, which made getting around easy and stress-free. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant experience, and we would happily stay here again.

A great escape

Outstanding views and top notch service. We used it as a rest stop and didn’t do any of the offered excursions but it was a great place to hang out and the food was excellent. It’s high on the hill (hence the views) so might be a bit of a challenge for some vehicles to get to

It’s a hidden Gem in Kandy. Wow what an amazing and most inspiring and magical boutiques hotel. We had a Beautiful modern room with a fantastic view of the city . Wish we had another day to spend in this hotel . The staff and manager went out of their way to serve us and beautifully decorated and very homely 👍. Definitely 💯 percent will recommend this magical hotel to my friends and family when they visit Kandy

Wonderful Views

A lovely small hotel, with beautiful views and very helpful staff. There is a fantastic roof terrace but unfortunately at the moment they do not have a licence to serve alcoholic drinks, which is a shame. We only had one meal there, apart from breakfast and it wasn’t outstanding. The pizza was bland and unappetising. Sitting on our balcony looking down at the lights of Kandy was a pleasure.

The Summit was absolutely outstanding. Pradeep and the rest of the staff were welcoming and bent over backwards to make our stay exceptional, and the property itself is simply one of a kind. It can be slightly challenging to find a Pick Me ride willing to go up the mountain, but there again the staff had us covered and arranged a tuk driver in under 10 mins. My only complaint is I only booked one night and didn’t stay longer. If you're visiting Kandy, but want a peaceful place to retreat and overlook the city at night, do yourself a favore and visit The Summit, I know I will be back.

Great place to stay in Kandy with amazing staff

We stayed one night at The Summit in Kandy during our trip to Sri Lanka. The places is maybe even more beautiful than the pictures, the rooms have incredible views over the city, plus they are modern and super clean (and A/C works well and it is quiet). Yes, the place is not in the center of Kandy, but you can very easily get a tuk tuk that will take to the center and back. Breakfast is very nice, especially the fruits and the Sri Lankan dishes (if you are up for a salty meal in the morning). But the true value added of this place is the staff. I need to call out especially Kogul. We travel a lot and have rarely met someone that would go above and beyond to try to help us. We had a last minute change of plans and needed to go back to the airport and, even if we had already checked out, Kogul found us a great driver and kept in contact throughout the journey back. So fully recommended the stay here and thanks Kogul for your help!!
