It's spotlessly clean, and everything you could possibly need during your stay is provided. Its perfectly situated for Lake Oeschinen (the panorama hike is the best in Europe), the Lötschenberg car train to Goppenstein (and on to Zermatt) and a scenic drive to Interlaken, Thun, Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald etcetera. The supermarket is just a few 100 metres away, as are restaurants. The last twice we have been we have stayed at this apartment, also my younger son stayed there the year before. We found the apartment very good value for money, everything you need for a base while exploring your lovely villiage and surrounding areas which are beautiful. We always refer to Kandersteg as our second home for our family. The apartment is very central to the public transport if needed. Local people are very helpful and friendly.
