This hotel is superb! They have thought of every detail, from lists of suggested restaurants or rainy day activities, to a range of tasteful and comfortable common spaces with local guidebooks. In the beautiful and very comfortable room, we appreciated a jetted tub and a plug adapter. Bedtime chocolates are provided with a card about the next day’s weather forecast, When we explained that we would be checking out before breakfast, staff offered to pack us some breakfast items to take with us.

We visited Argentina from Boston, MA for a family vacation in Buenos Aires, staying at the 1828 Smart Hotel for 7 nights, broken up by trips to Iguazu and Patagonia. The staff was exceptional, always attentive, caring and professional. We were able to leave a large bag behind for our excursions. The breakfast was excellent, with several options and eggs prepared as requested. It is a small hotel oasis in Palermo. The outdoor pool and lounge area is as the pictures show. Palermo is wonderful - full of cafe's, excellent restaurants and shopping. We will miss the wonderful, proud people of Argentina and we miss the friendships we made with the wonderful staff.
