John Waterman Arnold House Tours and Activities

Unfortunately we ended up checking in around 9:30 due to terrific traffic. Front desk was very pleasant & professional. We checked in quickly, our room was clean & great view of the water. Very quiet, didn't hear any other guests. No issue with parking, always a space available. Checked out via text message, super easy & quick.

Beautiful spa and hotel. Comfortable beds. Ascot pub is great. Didn't try the others. Free shuttle to Mohegan Sun s a nice perk. I only put 'good' for a few things. And only because I feel at this price point, you're paying for attention to small details like messy caulk in my bathroom, broken tiles in the spa pool, and room service forgot utensils and said they'd be back in a minute but I had to call 15 minutes later and by then my food was cold (and wasn't cheap). If this was half the price I'd never bring this up but there's certainly expectations at higher price points. And the spa should try to control people's volumes & phones while inside. I know they cannot control what people do, but something posted or staff reminders of this at check in would hike go a long way. All in all, very luxurious, good staff, great amenities in both the spa and hotel. A-

Staff at the desk were helpful and very friendly. Room was great and actually bigger than we expected. Location was incredibly convenient to Mystic. Would definitely stay again.
