So the overall experience was good staying at stowflake but the condition of the room were not so good. The first room they gave us was not clean properly (the bedsheets had hair on them. I asked for new bedsheets but they offered to change the room that is very kind of them. But later in the other room same thing happened, but I decided not to say anything. Overall cleanliness of the room if you see was alright but the bathroom was not at all clean clean. It had pink mold on the shower curtain as well as on the walls of the bathroom. I decided not say. They really need to up the game in cleanliness. I completely understand that it's an old property but these are basic things. Also nobody told us about the maintenance charges (17 dollars per day) throughout our stay and today during checkout they mentioned the fee to us. Me being me I agreed to it pay it, but my Boyfriend asked them why we were not charged before and no one told us while we were checking in. Also it is not mentioned on the website or Expedia. They said we are working with Expedia to work with this thing and other customers have also complained about this. End of story is we were charged with the fee but we have to email or call them for waiver of the fee. It's not about few dollars, it is about transparency about the policies. I would like to say that staff was amazing five stars for the service. 😀

We've stayed at the equinox the number of times they had kind of a special rate this weekend so it's hard to resist. Checking was not as easy as it's been in the past for some reason they seem to have some issues with the reservations from Expedia. What is usually a really smooth check-in took about almost 15 minutes to get done. Other than that things have been fine they've had a big wedding here which is quite a blast there's still partying and it's after 10:00 tonight. Shopping and food is always good a lot of restaurants unfortunately over the past few years have kind of closed same thing with some of the outlet stores but it's still a nice area.

Really good area. Walking distance to Church Street Marketplace, the lake, restaurants & cafes. Very good location. The hotel was ok. No fridge in my room & no internet connection, which was the downside considering the amount you pay per night. A lot of noise due to construction on going inside the hotel. You also have to pay for parking.
