"The home was extremely clean, comfortable and quiet. My one and only complaint were the 39 steps to the dock that were not shown. Four of us, all 70 or 71, would not have rented the unit because of the stairs. We loved the property, but climbing up and down a total of 45 stairs to get to the fishing boat was not enjoyable. But, I would highly recommend the property if stairs are not an issue."

"This lodge is amazing for a large group of travelers! Nine of my high school classmates planned a getaway and this property was perfect. The kitchen is so well stocked! Even 2 types of coffee makers! The table easily seated all of us. The great room is big but feels so cozy! We used the fireplace in the great room and the fire pit outside. The perfect places to talk, reminisce, and laugh.We all had our own beds with more beds to spare. The mattresses were very comfortable. We used the kayaks and the outside decks to enjoy the beautiful fall colors!The owner answered immediately when we had an issue and it was taken care of. He is very responsive! We all enjoyed ourselves tremendously!"

"It was a great location just outside Hayward, with excellent views of the lake. It was everything you would expect in a Northwoods vacation cabin and had everything you needed. The host was easy to communicate with, and it was very dog-friendly. We really enjoyed our early fall stay and would certainly go back again or recommend it to others."
