It is my home away from home. The Dajani family is one of the five most prominent families in Jerusalem, and their management of the New Imperial is flawless. The rooms are well-appointed, service is prompt and professional, the daily breakfast is delicious, and the family goes out of their way to make guests feel at home. I love it. I miss it! Everything fresh, lots of vegetables and healthy food. The staff was wonderful and it was conveniently located inside the old city. Great restaurant just around the corner called The Oak. Lots of shopping around and the roof top is wonderful for views and time together. Most of the staff are family and were some of the nicest people we met during our stay. Also listen to Amir the man running the place. Great, central location in Jerusalem and right inside Jaffa Gate. Safe, clean and comfortable. Terric breakfast included. Every staff person i interacted with was friendly, helpful and kind. The building itself dates from the 1880s which gives it charm and authenticity, but my room & bathroom were clearly 21st century. AC included. No elevator, so be prepared to climb stairs. The front desk man helped me & several others carry our bags. Lovely hotel.
