It’s safe to think of it as kind of a dormitory with hard wall and personal bathroom but without a bed. You can experience what ‘ondol’ is here. It's a great location for the hanok village. The wifi was reliable and fast. Whether you enjoy this will depend on whether you can sleep on a Korean-style bed. I've slept on a futon in Japan, but this was a much thinner mat on a hard wooden floor and overall had nowhere near as much padding. I got to sleep eventually, but it wasn't my most comfortable night ever. Good service Exceptionally friendly staff. Very helpful. Welcomed us with espresso coffee on arrival. They even offered to take us to the railway station by taxi and paid for it. Great, very convenient place to stay, if you want to explore the Suwon fortress. The hotel restaurant prepares good quality, Korean style breakfast. Free of MSG, if you ask for it.
