The intimate, and privately gated beach club offers you all the amenities surrounded by quaint, beautifully maintained grounds. The extremely friendly, English speaking staff will take pride in learning your name and are available to assist you 24/7\. The staff will be happy to help with tour and transportation arrangements, sightseeing and activity info, and recommending local restaurants. Our beach-front unit has two bedrooms, with two spacious bathrooms with marble showers, dining area, kitchen with bar and living room. A gracious terrace offers fantastic views of the ocean, beach, and rainforest; complete with both an outdoor eating area and teak deep-seating sectional…a peaceful spot for enjoying the view or taking a nap. The private Jacuzzi and pool with swim-up bar (available for hosting your own private party) is made of natural coralina tile, providing an attractive and refreshing oasis to cool off and lounge in the sun. You will enjoy all new modern conveniences, including custom-made beautiful Costa Rican hardwood furniture, gourmet kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances, washer and dryer, central air conditioning, flat screen smart TVs and wireless internet. Visit the local farmer’s market for local fruits and vegetables, or stop by the marina to purchase the fresh catch right off the dock. Our terrace has a spectacular view of Monkey Beach, a secluded beach 500 ft just to the north and accessible by wading across a small fresh water river flowing down from the mountains to the ocean. The condo is on the fourth floor with a view of the sunset and the "jungle" to the north. We sat on the balcony each evening with a glass of wine to watch the sunset. Jaco is a busy and growing place but when you are on the balcony you would have to idea that Jaco is so close, fairly easy walking distance if you avoid the heat of midday. The apartment is as described, very comfortable and well-stocked for a long stay such as ours (1 month). The neighbours that we met at the pool (mainly snowbirds) were a congenial bunch who were always willing to share tips on places to eat, to shop and to visit. The condo was the perfect size and had pretty much everything you needed. The owner, Doug, is very responsive and very kind. It is a beautiful location that is on the quieter side of town which is very nice. Crocs is right next-door and they have pice music on Friday and Sat nights which is very cool to hear! The condo has beach chairs and an umbrella which is very nice to have. Bring your own shower toiletries and laundry detergent. ##### Carrie C. Far enough away from downtown you don't hear traffic all day and night. Very secure. Pool was nice. Quiet complex. We're able to see a bunch of birds coming by. All the food close by is excellent. The balcony overlooking the beach had a great view of the ocean, the sunset, and the forest as the pictures show. The Condo complex was very safe and had a great pool which we took advantage of every day. This unit was well maintained and had everything we needed, including lots of towels and an in unit washer and dryer. We rented a car and it was a very short drive to town and easy to get to adventures beyond. Doug was a great and welcoming host and the on-site condo staff was very helpful. We saw monkeys, sloths and parrots when exploring a few minutes walk from the Condo. We had a great time and highly recommend this Condo! ##### Ashley B. Our family of 3 rented this condo for 11 days over the Christmas/New Year break. The condo, as well as the entire property, are immaculate and the staff is lovely. The pool area was so enjoyable. We spent hours watching the beach activity and cooling off in the uncrowded pool. The view from the balcony is incredible. The sunsets!!! There are two pairs of resident macaws that live on the nearby hill. They frequently fly by, and if you pay attention, you can watch them eating in nearby trees. I really enjoyed them. The condo was perfect for us. It has everything you need from kitchen utensils to beach umbrellas and chairs. All of the furniture is comfortable. Doug, the owner, was remarkably fast and helpful the couple times I needed questions answered. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would absolutely recommend it! ##### Donna B. Doug arranged for us to be picked up at the airport and driven he condo. Our driver offered to stop so we could look at the famous crocodiles and brought us to the grocery store on the way to the condo. The condo was clean, comfortable and very safe feeling. Doug was the most attentive host I have ever worked with. He responded very quickly to any questions that I had and checked in with us periodically during our stay to make sure that our stay was satisfactory. The staff at the facility were friendly and helpful and while they didn’t speak English well they made use of Google translate apps to communicate as necessary. There is a restaurant and bar in the casino next door to the complex which was convenient for dinner. The town of Jaco is an easy 15 minute walk up the beach. We were able to arrange a few tours which picked us up right at the condo. This was the most relaxing vacation I’ve had. Thanks for a great time! ##### Erin S. It’s a beautiful space with fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are instructions provided in the condo once you arrive, and if you happen to forget that, Doug is extremely responsive, helpful and patient. This condo is beautifully situated near the quiet end of Jaco beach close to where a river meets the ocean. There is a huge beach with slightly dark (and hot!) sand. When the tide is out the exposed ocean floor is sandy and the water is always comfortably warm. You can walk around the rocks at low tide. There are tons of birds to watch in this area (macaws, pelicans, albatross, egrets, cormorants, hawks, etc.). The tropical grackles wake you every morning with their diverse whistles and calls. This condo overlooks all the above, an amazing view from the patio. We had the best time and didn’t want to go home!
