Best hotel I've stayed in a long time - such character, spacious, clean and the food was excellent. My favorite part was a little kitchen area for guests with tea & coffee, drinks, snacks, home made cookies each afternoon. Highly recommend the Fairview Inn.

Wonderful hidden gem. Imagine living in the 1800’s but with all the convenience and amenities of the 21st century. The restsurant and bar are great snd they accommodate you to your preferences. Excellent staff. Everything clean and so inviting. The whole hotel and staff make you feel like if you at home. Definitely will stay here again! Thank you for making our stay magical and perfect in every way.

Large, comfortable rooms!

The rooms were older, but very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and the snacks and drinks in the common area was a nice added touch! It was fun to stay in a place with so much history, and we enjoyed exploring.

Stunningly beautiful, historic hotel, surrounded by well-maintained detailed gardens. Meticulous attention to detail, with period pieces throughout. The room was huge, beautifully-appointed, with a large bathroom. We especially loved the two completely separate sink areas, plus the two-person whirlpool. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Easily one of the best stays we've ever had

A Midsummer nights dream.

Cheryl was our waitress in the library lounge. She was a genuine delight. Towards the end of the evening and it bar closing time the bartender disappeared for some personal event. I was awaiting another pomegranate martini and while pacing the floor anxiously I noticed Sarah behind the bar making the drink. It was shaken not stirred. I tasted it and much to my delight told her it was better than the bartenders. Bartender beware.
