Enfield Manor was a wonderful place to stay. It is a true bed and breakfast and the hosts cook for you every morning. My friend and I were enthralled by the gorgeous property and we loved hanging out with the two dogs on site, Floyd and Sally.

This is a real gem. The location is very close to several state parks and the City of Ithaca. The grounds are so beautiful, I was ready to move in. The innkeepers were great!

Ended up paying an extra $125 for upgrade to different room. Fortunately that room had cancellation. Room I booked had bathroom across hall as opposed to being in room. Not sure if my fault for not researching better or miss representation on your website. I would never book room without bathroom attached. While it may have been private you had to walk in public hallway to access it.

Do not stay here! Told the park in specific parking place. No problem until the rotted out tree directly above that space fell on our car. Property owner did not ask how we were, simply came out and stated her insurance would not cover it as was an act of God. Bed-and-breakfast? No. Booked for $400 a night in a nice cottage deceiving pictures online, do not include breakfast according to Keeper, even though directly stated on website. Received an hour long lecture about the environment, running the air conditioning, utilizing towels running water running the heat to high, etc. This is after a nine hour flight with the six-year-old, my wife and a tired me. By the way, make sure you know how to do compost recycling trash and organizing the above three. Towels are crispy due to air drying and smell like hay. Both sponges and bathroom and kitchen brown and dirty. Had to buy new. No sheets on the bed, only comforter. Very tiny space and in Keeper incredibly nosy. Made to feel guilty using facilities do To environmental concerns. Warning, do not waste your money here.

Very private and dog friendly. Great location to explore Ithaca and the finger lakes. Nice deck to enjoy sunrise and sunset. Well equipped kitchen. We had problems streaming due to internet bandwidth. Otherwise we really enjoyed this property.

Friendly couple made you feel like you were coming home each night. Very clean and quiet, with excellent views of the sunrise from the Harriet Tubman room. Dogs were very friendly, breakfast was delicious, and recommendations/deals for wine tasting were excellent. Also appreciated the european-level of eco friendliness (solar panels, heat pump, bulk shower dispensers)

We enjoyed peaceful and relaxing atmosphere at the bed and breakfast. Inez and Tom were very helpful with tips for the waterfalls, restaurants, and wineries. The breakfast was delicious and the view memorable! Our dog loved exploring the land with their dogs. It was just what we needed for a long weekend gateway.

Perfect, Serene Getaway

We loved our stay with Inez and Tom at Enfield Manor - the home and property are beautiful, comfortable, and the delicious breakfast served every morning was a luxurious treat. We were encouraged to start a fire on our own on our first night, so it all felt relaxing and at ease - their beautiful, super friendly dogs made the stay even more fun - we loved playing with them. The home is kept spotlessly clean and there's plenty of room to move about and go in and out as you please, so it all worked out perfectly for us. We will definitely consider staying there again next time our travels bring us back to the Finger Lakes.

We really enjoyed our stay at Enfield Manor. Inez and Tom made us feel at home and were available for any tips that we were curious about for the area. The breakfast is amazing as well! We would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone going to the area.

Paradise get away

Enfield manor was very well maintained. The hosts Tom and Inez were very nice and made our stay comfortable. Stayed in the Harriet Tubman room which had a terrific view of the surrounding area and plenty of room to move about with its own bathroom as well. Breakfast was delicious and was a good start for the day before we explored the many state parks, historical sites, lakes, and wineries in the finger lake area. Was a very enjoyable trip and one we’ll make again soon.

Hidden Gem

Tom and Inez were great hosts. They were very helpful with area attractions and restaurants. Their home is very well kept and clean. Breakfast was wonderful and eating on the patio was very relaxing. We also enjoyed their two golden retrievers, who are very well behaved.

Not a Good Experience

The owners identified a couple minor scratches on the wood floor of our room (not even sure we caused it) and then made a huge deal out of the scratch and threatened to charge us to repair. After that we felt very uncomfortable staying there and even skipped our breakfast on the last day which we had already paid for. Bottom line - owners are way over protective of the property so not worth staying there.
