We can’t rate the house because we were not able to stay.

This is not a rating of the apartment, only a rating of our circumstance. We were not able to stay due to a communication problem. We arrived in the town and sent emails via VRBO to the owner. We waited for over 2 hours but didn’t get any response. We left then to find another place to stay. We found out the next day that the owner did not get our messages until an hour after we had already left. She apologized for the communication problems and was kind enough to refund our charges. The town was quaint and we would have enjoyed a stay. Anyone renting in this area would be advised to setup a very specific time to meet the owner in advance of arriving.
