Nourriture et drinks ok. En haut de 2500$ ce serait trop dispendieux pour cet hôtel. L’emplacement et la plage très bien. Pour profiter au maximum de la vue spectaculaire il faut se retrouver au 4e étage minimum.

Nous avons eu le droit à une suite pour notre accès VIP expédia. Sérieusement la plus belles plages de toutes la côte… superbe avec de jeunes enfants… il y a pleins de poissons sur le bord du pont. Petit hôtel avec des vues imprenables… c’est un hôtel pour se reposer… pas de grosse fiesta! Les gens sont #1… les drinks super… la bouffe bien. Vous pouvez vous rendre à pied à l’avenue principale… c’est super sécuritaire. De loins la plus belle place de l’île… et j’ai fait le tour ♥️

The resort is older and needs some work to maintain 2024 standards. The Beach is awesome and best part of this hotel and location. The food is simply not good enough and the options are limited. This area needs attention. The tern's are adorable but are messy and noisy.

“Tern Sanctuary” not advertised large amount of birds horrible smell, online pics are VERY deceptive. Bathrooms are very small, property not kept up very worn. Shower head in ceiling was loose and hanging, sink didn’t drain. Food was horrible, no room service, fridge in room was from the 90’s and had a few soft drinks and a small bag of Doritos and a couple of Corona’s. Have to pay $157 for a cabana area unless you are a black wristband person. Time share sales people that work for hotel disguised as explaining the hotel and options when you arrive. Each time we went back through lobby we were approached and harassed to meet for a sales pitch. I kept saying no and continually pressured to have a “breakfast” it was super uncomfortable. We avoided the lobby for this reason. Most of the staff was kind but the black wristband people got preferred service everywhere.

Place needs some serious updating but overall I will come back over and over again. Pool needs to be open later. They kick you out at dark. Beer only at the bar after 10pm so that sucks for non beer drinkers. I love the location and the beaches are amazing. Mexican restaurant was so yummy and so were the fish tacos at the ceviche place. Oddly no ceviche there. I don’t want to leave!! Will be back!!

The location was beautiful and the staff was great. The property needs updated and repaired. No hot water and the shower head was broken, holes in the blackout drapes, rust on the curtains, tv broken shampoo and conditioner bottles were used. Under par for a 5 star resort. The birds were loud and stunk, bird poo everywhere.

We first came to Mia Reef in 2018 and loved it. Great location. Awesome snorkeling. Decent accommodations and food. On a 1-5 scale ... 5 for location, 5 for staff, 3.5 for rooms and 3 for food. Food is their weakest point. Not enough variety and so so on quality at times. Kudos to Guillermo and Chris. These men were so helpful on numerous fronts and were greatly appreciated!

The location of the property is beautiful! The personnel was always working hard to make sure everything was in top condition. Very clean and comfortable. It never seemed crowded. Food options were breakfast/lunch/dinner buffet or Mexican/italian restaurant (dinner only). They all had good options. On most nights there was an entertaining show at 8. The beach is kid/non swimmer friendly. If you are looking to relax on the beach and enjoy a chill laid back environment this is the place to do it!

Overall stay was great with just a few minor issues. First, my room was not ready upon check in. Waited 2 hours for that, but luckily concierge took our bags so we were able to just eat/hang out at the beach. The food like most all inclusives is okay, just have to find what is good pretty much. The buffet always had tons of options and the place near the beach to eat had some good tacos. The 2 other restaurants on property require 24 hours notice for reservations. Last thing that kept us awake at night was the birds! If you're staying in an ocean front villa, make sure to check the bird mating schedule. We were told they are there for 4-5 months and they are LOUD! All night and all day, sounded like cats fighting at the door, bring good earplugs! We went end of April. Everything else was great! The staff, the amenities, the property is GORGEOUS. The beaches are so nice and in the front there's great snorkeling. Also a highlight of this hotel is Kings Pool! It is a must when staying here! It has the best snorkeling on property and is so beautiful, we spent a whole day at this pool and had it all to ourselves. Place is definitely great if you just want to stay and have a few chill beach days for sure! Kept nice and clean as well. We did an excursion one day and transportation was easy! Would definitely come back.

Surroundings are incredible! Amazing beach, best in the island, amazing for snorkeling. The hotel room is ok and the hotel`s location is just the best. Hotel quality is ok, needs a lot of improvement. It should not be considered all inclusive. The food at the buffet was unacceptable. But the food in the restaurants near by were great :)

Mia Reef is a beautiful setting. You cannot beat its location and natural beauty, the cove, the King's Bath, Atlantic view, palm trees, sand, fish and birds. Check-In had time share pressure. All-inclusive does not include a bali-bed, that is extra or only for timeshare members. A good variety of food and drink options included. Las Marias had incredible dining, very delicious and upscale. We preferred the outdoor dining to the indoor at Las Marias. Guillermo and Rogelio were very gracious. Sarimar had a buffet and hot grill style, allowing for great variety, something for everyone. Jerry and Gustavo were always quick to serve you. The Cevicharia had beachside informal dining by Roberto, where you could grab a refreshing beverage, tostada, tacos and ceviche. We enjoyed entertainment in the Blue Moon Bar, the Caribbean dancers, Mayan dancers and cirque performers. The Spa Mia was heavenly, with massages and sun care oils. Ileana was great! We went in mid April, so the Sooty Terns were in mating season by the villas. This made for a lot of noise, but after the first night we got used to them. Pretty neat to know that they fly for months at a time but come back to Mia Reef during this time of year. Loved being able to watch them laying their eggs. The villas were incredible, clean, great views, and the mini fridge was stocked daily. Minor setbacks were inconsistent on room towels, toiletries and fridge items you would get, pool was hazy. Can't beat the cove!

You’re staying here for the location, not the resort. The resort is fine, not great, not awful. If you like finer accommodations with multiple robust food options you will find yourself complaining. Food is minimally acceptable and mostly buffet. But tons of affordable great food options two to three blocks away in town. But again, you are here for the beach and views. The water is remarkable. Extremely safe for people of all ages including young children. Nobody will be getting carried away by a current or rip tide, nobody will be drowning. More geared for beach bums if you want to stay on resort. If you like exploring Isla is a beautiful place too.

Das Hotel ist perfekt gelegen fußläufig zum Ort und an dem schönsten Strand der Insel. Morgens, bevor die Boote kommen konnte man fast alleine im Wasser sein, aber auch später war es nie zu voll und traumhaft schön. Unser Zimmer war ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich und lecker. Das Einzige, was wir nicht mehr machen würden war ein Golfcard im Hotel buchen, denn woanders sind die billiger und besser… Insgesamt haben uns super wohl gefühlt und würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

I appreciated the staff. They were attentive, gracious, welcoming, friendly, honest...... I was impressed with the quality of food and drink. Over-all not a bad moment during the 9 days there. I will definitely be back.

Loved the water and snorkeling. We had two stingrays in the water below the villas. A moraine eel that I don’t need to see again. Amazing colours of water, tons of fish. Loved the villas and the location of the villas. Loved the food. The buffet was great. The restaurant is amazing. Did not expect that. The shrimp bar on the beach is great!! Staff goes above and beyond. We fell in love with the place because of the water/beach and the staff. We were shocked how busy the area can be. Up to 70 boats visit the bay on a busy day. Mind you they wade through the water to the north end beach and not Mia Reef beach, waters and grounds. We are from a small prairie town and do not care for masses of people. Having said that, it did not interfere with enjoying the vacation. Tourist area/street in North end was fun to walk through in the evenings. Tons of little stores, restaurants, bars out on the street. Snorkeling at Garrafon Beach Hotel worth it. With more coral than at Mia. Again lots of fish. Do not like the push for presentation on time share upon arrival. We firmly had to decline to engage in conversations on time share.
