El hotel está en muy lindo, Justo en la playa y con un beach club muy padre. El servicio es bueno, la comida rica, recomiendo el ceviche. Esta a cuatro cuadras del centro, se puede caminar o tomar taxi de $150 pesos. Si volvemos.

Our stay was great. Rooms were very nice, beach was beautiful with amazing sunsets. Quiet and outside of town but close enough for a ten minute walk. Definitely recommend.

El hotel me gusto mucho, es pequeño pero esta muy bien administrado. Tiene un restaurant muy bueno, recomiendo el ceviche que tiene pulpo, es excelente y los chilaquiles. El staff es muy amable y en general muy limpio. Volveria a hospedarme aqui.

This hotel is absolutely AMAZING!! We were sad to go. The service, amenities, beach, etc exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to return. I highly recommend this hotel for families and couples. The beach service and location are perfect!! We walked the beach to the most incredible part of beach - stunning! And the other direction is just steps to downtown and shops, etc. this hotel was perfect!!

General manager was not comprehensive of my concern was the issue of my drinks was not to my liking he proceeded to belittle my experience. Moving forward felt like he had it out for me and my friends.

We took a 5 day vacation to isla Holbox and stayed here. It was beautiful. The staff was very very nice and helpful with all of our requests if we had any. They gave us advice on where to eat, things to do and how to get there. The hotel itself was super clean and well kept. Our private pool was awesome. The only negative thing I would say is that we didn’t have hot water. It was warm/cold. But we had to take into account for being on an island and all the other people trying to shower and use hot water as well. Overall we will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit.

Great staff, installation and location. The beach club is nice, far enough from the party clubs but close enough to go if you need it. Beach restaurant could be better in terms of food and cocktails.

Our stay was overall excellent. We arrived very late, were greeted by name, quickly directed to the restaurant as we had not eaten anything & when we returned to finish checking in our bags were already taken to the room. The property is beautiful, staff is amazing, beach is incredible- just perfect. Convenient location to walk to town (5-10 min walk down the beach) or to Punta Coco the other way. Room was comfortable with great amenities. We had the Loft ocean view room and loved it- Special thanks to Leonardo & Miguel at the front desk, Gambino! Looking out for guests and his co-workers! Monserrat, Itzel, Fernando & Hector at the restaurant Uleses & Julian overseeing everything - Two negatives with misleading advertising descriptions: The "$150 resort credit" is a coupon book for things at the hotel like Spa services, bottles of wine, breakfast or dinner at $5 per. We expected $150 but were only able to received $25 value. The "Jr Suite Ocean Front Swim out" rooms: There is a dirt road that runs right in front between the these rooms (the main hotel) & the restaurant heading to the beach making the use of the little pool look unpleasant- LOTS of golf carts, motorcycles 4 wheelers etc (noise & Dust) The ocean is quite a ways away, so while you CAN see it, it's not the best view & it's NOT Ocean front. You'll get a better view from the higher rooms and going to the main pool! I would have been VERY upset if I booked this room (I considered it)

Great stay for families and couples!
Our stay was amazing. I went with my wife and 10 year old daughter. The hotel was perfect for our family. The staff were great and the hotel had everything we needed. The beach is one of the best, and you can see the sunset right on the beach. I look forward to our next time at Mystique.

Excellent customer and food Svc Pool was clean even though 2 days was under treatment since someone had an accident Bedroom very clean, spacious and had an awesome hair dryer and steam iron which are very hard to have in a hotel so kudos I would recommend and hopefully I will be back soon Thanks again

The ocean front was a plus. The view was beautiful. The view at night even more beautiful. We did have many issues with our room and staff. We had a problem getting into our room, our keys constantly failed and staff was not too concerned with that issue one young man even laughed at us. The supposed manager was useless come to find out she wasn’t the manager. Staff sat around on their phones. The day the real manager was onsite there was a complete change in staffs attitude. They were all working and extremely courteous and accommodating. We had to call several times for the AC to run. They cleaned but didn’t leave toilet paper or sufficient coffee and coffee supplies. The room was decent but could have been cleaner. I would not stay here again for the amount of money we paid.

So we loved the hotel and the staff. One curious thing that irked me was that for a two person room they only put 1 regular coffee pod and 1 decaf coffee pod. Like what if two people wanted regular coffee?

Enrique the manager was amazing!! He went out of his way to welcome us. Helped set up everything so my room could be decorated for my birthday. It was a beautiful stay. He went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of in every single. It’s because of managers like him that make our stay so special and the reason we keep coming back. Also Gabino at the beach was extremely attentive, professional and helpful. Always with a smile and ready accommodate anything that we needed. The service at this hotel is as good as any Ritz, Le Blanc or Four Seasons. Maybe even better!! Thank you so much Enrique and Gabino for making our stay so fun and magical! ♥️✨💫

A nice place on Holbox
Be aware that some of the loft rooms claim to have a sea view, but most of them do not, as the hotel is built facing sideways and not toward the sea. The loft area doesn’t have much of a view at all, so ours went unused. Sadly there was a storm a few days before we arrived, so many of the beaches were pasted with algae, making the water quite murky. We walked about 25 minutes to the other end of the island to get cleaner beaches and water. But the service was quite nice as was the food.

The staff, as we find with all resorts in Mexico, make the experience. In this case, the staff are struggling keeping pace with maintenance issues. Please, please, please, give the lovely spa attendant a better facility.

The gentlemen at the front desk were always so kind, friendly and helpful! The restaurant food was delicious! I wish I could drink those mango margaritas all day! I appreciate that they always let me use their bug spray! I loved my stay here!

Improvements urgently needed
Holbox is great. The hotel, however, was a big disappointment. The general service is very poor - rooms are cleaned in the late afternoon, check out was terrible, there is no help to get taxis, directions etc. Each time we asked for something, eg new towels, clean up of our room etc., the staff would say “yes” but nothing would be done. The food at the hotel is very poor although the service in the restaurant is ok. Not a place where you want to have any meals. Only good thing about this hotel is the beautiful beach front and the overall location in Holbox. And the service at the beach area is also terrific.
