Confortablenstop over for a family

Arrived late and left early the next day to catch a flight so did not have the luxury of spending as much time at the resort as we would have liked. Spacious comfy rooms and excellent staff and food!

We stayed here for 4 nights and really liked it. All of the staff were very pleasant, professional, friendly and accommodating. One of the servers at the breakfast buffet even ran down the street to get an avocado for my vegan niece!! The beautiful restaurant is located on the roof top with nice views of the port and nice breezes blowing through, they even have room service!! The room was spacious with a nice covered deck where you could sit and watch the tropical rain. The a/c was nice and the shower had very good water pressure. The pool was closed for renovations on our first day, but opened the next day and it was so nice to be able to cool down after a hot day! It’s a beautiful blue tiled pool with the perfect temperature . We took advantage of the bikes they offer for free to ride around the quaint town. It is in a nice location, less than 5 minute walk to the docks, multiple restaurants , a deli with vegan options and killer vegan sorbet, an ATM and a super market! The hospital is very close. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this hotel to others.

We had a lovely time here. The staff is attentive and kind. We were initially assigned a room on the 2nd floor. The manager observed that I was moving slowly due to a recent knee injury, and moved us to the ground floor next to the pool and breakfast area. All this without us even asking. The breakfast is excellent, and consists of your choice of scrambled or fried eggs, ham, cheese, pastry of the day, a serving of fruit, and various freshly pressed juices from local fruits (naranjillo, blackberry, orange, etc.). Self-serve beverages include coffee, tea, milk, or yogurt. The rooms are cleaned every day, spotless and neat, with extra towels delivered upon request. The pool area is super clean and tidy. Upon my request, they immediately completed a minor repair of the door. A staff member also recommended a great dinner restaurant with live bachata music. To top all this, La Casa de Judy is close to the Darwin Station, Station Beach, town center, numerous restaurants, galleries, and shops, the bank, and even the benches where sea lions lounge. If you are looking for a fun place that is at once environmentally aware and comfortable, this is it!
